   Great outdoor space, good service and tasty food. Not sure how they’d handle a huge crowd but I would not hesitate to choose Bar Sienna the next time I’m at Old Orchard!

   Waiter basically forgot about us. After flagging down another person this person then waited on us. Service was still slow and disappointing. My omelette was just ok. Toast was odd… was like a day ok’d garlic toast and not good. Potatoes were cold. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

   Good food. Pricey. The delivery person dropped one of the pizzas on the floor so they had to make another one which too a long time, all others were done eating by the time that came. No apology from the server of the manager who brought the pizza at the end. Just put it in the table and left. Very disappointing service, specially for the prices they are charging.

   Expensive for what you get. Ordered a chopped salad and pizza to share. Pizza was very good. Chopped salad was not chopped, was supposed to have all kind of ingredients and few could be found. Service was below average. I brought a cake for a birthday… they charged an outrageous $25 cutting fee…. Small cake for 3 people. They did bring fun sparklers with it… but $25 is about what I paid for the cake so outrageous. Don’t expect to be going back.

    We had a very delicious lunch here, grilled octopus and Barada was excellent. Shared a salad and left with a full stomach. Don’t forget the cocktails, they are on point!

    The first time we went there, it was wonderful, and the food was good. So we decided to go again on Mother’s Day. We were seated in a back room that didn’t look at all like the front of the house which is very pretty. Our waitress was lovely however, every single other person that came to our table to either deliver food or whatever had zero personality, and didn’t speak at all. They just dumped the plates of food on the table and walked away. As for the food. My husband’s dish was OK but my pasta was absolutely tasteless. I really liked this restaurant at first but unfortunately the second trip was not very good at all and I don’t think I’ll go back.

    First time dining at Bar Siena and was not really impressed. Drinks were good, potato skin appetizer was not hot at all when it came out. Ordered lasagna and a few minutes before the entrees came out our server came and told us that the kitchen ran out of lasagna. I understand running out of food but why was I being told when our food was about to come out? Someone dropped the ball on that one. Was really looking forward to the lasagna so I would have expected a manager to at least stop by but we never saw one. Usually restaurants have their managers walking around touching tables but perhaps they were too busy tonight as it did take about 15 minutes after our reservation time for us to be seated because the table had to be cleaned. Overall a disappointing experience for a restaurant of this caliber.

    One service misstep after another. Forgot multiple items, entrees came out before appetizers, drinks took forever. Sat in the back room which feels like the land of forgotten customers. Ambiance in the main room is considerably better. Love the location in the city but we will not be returning here.

    First and last time at Bar Sienna. Excited to learn the food is prepared from scratch. However, the lasagna was burnt, the pizzas was cold and the potatoes were undercooked. The salads came at the same time as our dinner. We didn't get refills of any of our drinks. The server was nice to offer her apologies for the food but she stated that the kitchen was short handed.

    Awful experience from start to finish. Didnt clear dishes after apps when food came, never apologized, had to wait over 5 mins while food got cold. Sangria was water-downed and bubbly. Pizza was bland. Prices very high and a 3% charge added to bill which they remove if you ask.

    The pizza was the best part and would def go back because the crust was chewy and outstanding. The focaccia app was delish with prosciutto! The food is way overpriced for what it is and so is the alcohol. $40 for a chicken entree that was ok, $60 for a bottle of Giesen Sauv Blanc that is $13-$15 at the store? I liked our waiter but he seemed rushed and a bit overwhelmed. They did not clear app plates/food before main food came out and when I asked the bus boy if he could take it after I neatly stacked it, he just walked away. Too much to ask I guess. Bottom line, I would go back for pizza and sit at the bar with girlfriends, not for a sit down.

    For being such an expensive restaurant, I don't understand why the service is subpar. The service staff always seems overwhelmed. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, which is annoying considering we had a reservation. However, the food is outstanding. Very delicious. However, the service should be on-par with any Lettuce Entertain You or even a steakhouse given the prices - and it feels more like California Pizza Kitchen. Our server was delightful - however was admittedly tired and busy. Perhaps a management issue?

    Every dish was really mediocre. Fries were cold and soggy. Hamburger way overdone. Breakfast calzone was 2/3 dough and uninspiring. Service was polite and capable but slow.

    Poor options, seating was very cluttered couldn’t hear family conversation without hearing the neighbor to the left or right of us. This made it so loud. Food was over cooked crispy not what I expected the monkey bread was as I’d the defrosted it in the microwave

    The food is good but overpriced. $40 for an entrée at a restaurant in Old Orchard is ridiculous plus the extra Skokie taxes is absurd. The service was lacking. We almost went to the bar to order our drinks and they forgot to serve the salad. The acoustics are terrible because the restaurant was very noisy.

    One of the mostover priced restaurants in the suburbs. The tuna appetizer was one of the tiniest pieces of fish I have seen for $19. The food tasted good, but it’s not worth the value.

    My daughter and I went to Bar Siena for an early Mother's Day dinner since she'll be working this coming Sunday. It was my first time going there and I thought it was terrific. The food was delicious - we shared the Prime Steak Carpaccio and the Brick Chicken Diavolo. Both of the dishes were flavorful and presented well. I will absolutely go back again.

    Bar Sienna is great food but it is overpriced, $45 for fries, a salad, and a non alcoholic beverage every time I do go there I have to call upon my server multiple times.

    Initial impression was good, the place had the vibe. Waiter service was excellent. Several dishes tasted great: focaccia, octopus, squid pasta. But there were few things that will not make us come back for a full blown meal: wine list is not much to brag about - cheap $14 chardonnay for $70 ; appetizers too pricey, they were presented as shareables but barely enough for one person (tuna crudo comprised of 4 tiny hair thin slices of tuna); kale salad acidity level could burn through plumbing pipes; desert spoons were dirty and had crumbs of dried food particles; espresso and cappuccino were served at room temperature. To manager's and server's credit they replaced dirty silverware and cold coffee beverages and took bad item off the check. But I doubt we will be back.
