The food was excellent, but when I pay $200 for dinner for 3, I want it to be an event....with time to enjoy my cocktail, and then receive my appetizers. For dinner to be delivered after appetizers are finished, and I'd like to be given the opportunity to order a second drink. If I want to eat dinner in half an hour, I can go to McDonalds. I've never felt so rushed through a meal - and for no reason. They were not busy, but staff needs to be trained on how to time the delivery of a meal. Very disappointing. Fabio would lose restaurant wars because the front of the house was terrible.

Food was overcooked, place was basically a nightclub at 9pm. Overpriced because of the location but the food was not up-to-par of West Loop standards. Restaurant smelt like soap in a bad way. Overall, not a good experience.
Consistently good food. Brussels sprout salad and grilled octopus excellent. A little pricey for portion of size. We shared but don’t have big appetites. Our server Allison was great!

We came here to meet my friends who were in town. We ordered two pizzas one with meat and one without. Had the kale salad and donuts.

Very good food. Best to make it a tasting menu sort of thing. The cotopus was very good. The cacio e pepe pasta was truly wonderful. Then we shared a pizza was was also very good. It was a lot of food but pizza was wonderful left over. Atmosphere is fun and lively. Felt a bit rushed however. as soon as you were done with a plate someone rushed over to take it even if it had a little left on it. Went on a Saturday night so it was pretty crowded. Would go again I'm sure.

Yesterday was the first time my friend and I had dined at Bar Siena. After hearing great reviews time and time again, we decided to give it a go. Food was great and so was the service, but not for the price. To start off, I ordered a glass of wine and the sweet corn ravioli. That alone totaled $35. The entree dish came with only 6 pieces of ravioli. For a $20 pasta dish at another Italian restaurant in the city, you could feed at least two people. Unfortunately, after my entree I was left hungry. My friend and I decided to order the bomboloni for dessert and that was the highlight of the meal. Overall, a glass of wine, entree, a shared dessert and tip cost me over $50. For lunch, that’s a little excessive. I will probably not be returning.

We had a great server, whose name I cannot remember, but she was always right there with a coffee or water refill and made some great recommendations for breakfast.
With so many brunch spots in the neighborhood it was tough to decide, but we will definitely be back!
