BAR RITA- Fort Lauderdale
The waitress completely forgot about us for 2 hours. We couldn’t get water let alone the check.
Chicken and waffles was to die for!!!!
Love hanging out on the second floor deck... it was breezy and outdoorsy without the heat.
First time there great place. Was there for happy hour great crowd, music , food and vibe
Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly, I would def recommend!
Amazing food and wonderful drinks. Every thing we ordered was amazing but the service was horrible. At one point we left the table to go order drinks ourselves at the bar.
Always a great meal, and super friendly wait staff! We did sit downstairs however and there was a Latin Band upstairs, they had the sound system in the dining area downstairs so loud we could not hear at the table. However, we asked if they could adjust and they did turn it down. Super fun bar, great environment and well worth the trip
First time here since the renovation and I was very pleased with everything including the service and menu with numerous "clean food and drink" options for the "health consciuo"s individuals. I would not hesitate recommending Bar Rita to any local resident or visitor for a unique atmosphere and dining experience.
great food and service!!! we will go back for brunch!
The food was good. The bar, however did not have my wine - pinot grigio. I can't believe they ran out and didn't bother to restock.
Food was so good! Best fajitas I’ve had in FL and the margaritas are delicious! Loved the spicy watermelon!
Every thing we tried was 5 star! The guacamole is outstanding, the steak,Love the fish tacos, the ice tea is fresh.
Was very impressed - first time here. The food was excellent - I had the truffle guacamole and was very happy with it - enough for several to share as an appetizer. I then had 2 single tacos -a short rib and a beef one, both very good but the Short rib was exceptional - a smoky flavor and a little heat. I had the skinny margarita which was good. Then I tried the watermelon jalapeno margarita, and that will definitely my go-to in the future: not too sweet and some heat, especially from the salt on the rim. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ate downstairs and will try eating upstairs next time - which has a more festive/DJ atmosphere, but has more of a wait from what I understand. I will be going back for what I see as much better than typical Mexican food -definitely elevated.
Had a reservation for brunch and we were sat very quickly. The specials were explained and we picked our drinks and the chips and salsa. Drinks were great and the salsa was also great. The chips are spot on; crunch and salty. The food came quickly and was plated well and it tasted great. Would definitely return. Pricing in line with other tex-mex restaurants in the downtown (Las Olas) area.
Love this place, the food is delicious, nice ambiance and great customer services!!! Ohhh the decoration is colorful and vibrant, Super cool 😎
This was my third or fourth visit to Bar Rita. Always enjoy the staff, have had great service, and the food is delish. Tuesday $3 tacos are worth every penny! Just watch the weather. Heavy rain inhibits seating.
Great happy hour drink specials and tasty dinner!
Music way too loud...tiny tiny tacos...salsa and chips..chips were stale ...margaritas weak...rather do La Bamba on Monday night..bigger menu..faster service..and better food..
This place had the freshest guacamole I've had. Our bartender Ashley was fantastic. Love this place. Now in the regular rotation.
Good food and drinks. I’m sure our waitress was tired running around but she still had a smile on her face. My fave hangout place now.
I love the lively atmosphere of Bar Rita! First we had margaritas at the roof top bar. Cici, the bartender, was superb. She gave us recommendations for the best margaritas & guacamole and even let us have a try of the Spicy Strawberry Margarita which was delicious. They have 4 different guacamoles to choose from so we chose the Street Corn Guacamole with Cotija cheese. It was scrumptious. Next, we went downstairs for dinner. I had the avocado tacos with the salad & I really enjoyed it. I also tried the mahi tacos which were very good, too. The one thing I would add would be a DJ on Saturday night. If they had that, my friends and I would have stayed and had more cocktails. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the place to a friend for a casual night out.
The staff made us feel special on our dual birthday celebrations. Being upstairs has an airy feeling, while sipping cool refreshing drinks and indulging in the tapas and menu.
Went there for the first time on a Monday night with a group of all male business associates. $5 margaritas and $5 off fajitas. Food was just ok but $5 margaritas were good. Service and ambiance were ehh.
Monday nights apparently are now gay pride night. Certainly a surprise for me and my group. Not much of an issue and we stayed, ate and drank but this should be prominently displayed on the website right up there with $5 margaritas. We had a good time, but wasn't the vibe we were looking for when we made the reservation.
Great food. Love the bowls.
The music by the dj was EVERYTHING
The server was sweet and personable. All my friends enjoyed. Def be going back again and again.
Food was very good. It was Fajita night...only negative, it is loud...maybe not for other...but was for our group.
Excellent food and service. Fun atmosphere, albeit quite loud. Lots of echo.
Loved having Sarah as our server, She was so much fun. Had a great time as always Allan’s look forward to coming back
Drinks are fabulous
Great place and awesome drinks. A must try if you love guacamole, will go back again
Excelente comida y ambiente
Everything was exceptional, so the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the latino/hispanic/spanish music all night, I prefer a mixture of cultures. Other than that perfect. And regardless of the music, I will go back.
I went to Taco Tuesday for dinner the week of the 4th of July. It was surprisingly slow. The tacos were delicious and $3/taco. The only drink special was for tequila shots. The rest of the drinks were typical price range for South Florida. I would definitely go back for the food alone.
Our first visit. We started out with drinks up stairs @7:15 on a Monday and it was so loud we could not have a conversation. We ate down stairs where my order came out wrong and the music was also so loud we could not carry on a conversation. The service friendly and the fajitas mediocre. The margaritas were great.
Food was great can’t complain, just wish we had quicker service thats all!
Get the truffle corn guacamole and the carne asada fries!
We love the food and restaurant, but the service was not the best this time around.
Great place for drinks. Food not so great. I’ve had better tacos elsewhere. The food at Tap42 is way better, so I was surprised.
Nice place and vibe. Kinda pricey for Mexican food. Marquaritas were on the weak side.
Food was very average. Nothing special. Place was empty. Server wasn’t the most gracious. Beautiful decor though.
Went for Father’s Day 🤘🏼
