Then at the turn of the clock we transform into a exquisite fine dining establishment. With only 7 tables you will enjoy a very intimate setting with a unique view of our one-of-a-kind dry-aging room. Highlighted by a 300 sqft illuminated Himalayan salt wall, you will see cuts of prime and exotic beef such as Japanese Brown Wagyu (Akaushi), A4 & A5 Japanese Black Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, Wagyu crossed with American domestic breeds (American Wagyu) and some of the very best USDA Black Angus Beef you will ever experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Dinners are a Pre-Set menu for 2 that include 4 courses with an average cost of $150 per person. Because of our very unique setting and limited availability, your table will be reserved for a max of 2 hours.

Top notch dry aged steak!! Went out of their way to accommodate food allergies (GF, DF, soy free, egg free). The chef came out and was very personable and polite. Great service and ambiance. Not a value saver meal place. Straight up class!!

This is a MUST-eat steak house. I have been blessed to eat at many very high-end steak houses coast to coast and this one 100% is at the top of the list. You are greeted by a genuine handshake from the server, you are MADE to feel special. Every patron that was seated in this very cozy atmosphere was made to feel like they were a top priority and the service was not worried about turning the table. Be prepared to be delighted by every course, we had the wedge salad with some insanely unique dressing, followed by the Australian Wagyu tomahawk that was cooked and prepared to a perfect med-rare, complemented by mashed potatoes and mushrooms that I could not get enough of, followed by a pecan pie dessert that truly was amazing. This will become one of my favorite places to take anyone I am trying to show what a REAL steak house is supposed to feel and taste like...thank you again for a great evening.

They are focused on dry aged meat and if it's not your favorite thing then it's not your place. Also, if you want to share a plate with someone they charge you $20 for an extra plate (the same amount of food!) And this is not allign with a "fine dining" experience (it was not on the menu either) The cook of the meat was good, they were some burnt spots tho. They have a really good mashed potatoes. Most of the cuts of the meat was fat and everything was seemed a little overpriced for what it was.

Spencer took incredibly good care of us. His knowledge and passion for the culinary arts really made the difference for our experience. Every dish we ordered was cooked and prepared perfectly. My girlfriend and I love dining here and plan to be back again very soon.

Bar Ranch carefully sources the best beef they can find, ages it in a beautiful meat locker and grill over wood as simply as they can. While the accompaniments could each stand out on their own, the chef has done a good job of balancing them against the richness of the meat so you end up with a meal in perfect harmony. Best of all, it’s one of the few restaurants in the metroplex without a liquor license which means that you can bring the best wine in your cellar to compliment your steak. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Without question.

What a hidden gem. Small, intimate, the owner personally greeting you, even the chef checking on how the meal was, what a wonderful experience. My wife is gluten free and they made her a special ice cream flight for dessert, the steak was the best I’ve had in Dallas as well as a delightful wedge salad that had a little heat to it. Also appreciate the small details, from the flowers awaiting my wife for our anniversary to the vintage Yankees vs Brooklyn dodgers game playing in the restroom. Couldn’t recommend a restaurant more than BAR-ranch.

Quite an experience. No single ordering, all family style. It's like an old style restaurant where there are 3 options and it's all steak. Tips: - Don't go solo. 2 is best and 4 is generally max. - There are 7 tables, 5x2 tops and 2x4 tops. Make sure they can accommodate if you go over 4. - Don't go if someone doesn't like steak. The experience is for the beef. - It's expensive. It is worth it if you're a foodie or enjoy unique dining experiences. - The owner works it and is attentive, jovial, and provides unique insights on the experience. - Let them know if you're celebrating and there may be a surprise waiting for you on arrival!

Yesterday, just as Texas's evening skies began to don their charcoal cloaks at 7:15pm, I trotted into the illustrious BAR Ranch Steak Company nestled in the charming streets of Plano. Oh, what a delight it was! The first thing you need to understand is, this is not just a dining room; it's an architectural symphony of brick and open glass. The eight-table interior captured the warm aesthetics of a ranch-themed sonnet without compromising the haunting sophistication of a monk's library. The rustic brick walls standing as silent custodians of culinary wonders. Now onto the pièce de résistance, the A5 Wagyu sirloin! Sourced from the verdant pastures of Hokkaido, Japan, this 21-day wet-aged marvel was an edible enigma of sorts. The meat didn't just melt in my mouth; it disintegrated and thereafter conducted a symphony on my tastebuds, a choreographed ballet of umami and supreme tenderness unmatched in this half of the hemisphere. Complimenting this beefy Beethoven was a troupe of fire-roasted corn and brussels sprouts, their crimsons charred to reveal smoky undertones, a divine contrast to the earthy reverence of the sprouts. The gnocchi? Let's sum it up as fluffy pillows of love baptized in the most comforting gravy you'll ever meet. My husband and I recently dined at Bar-Ranch Steak Company for his birthday and it was so incredibly special. There are only 14/ish seats in the restaurant which makes it so intimate. We truly felt as if we were the only people dining. Lane is attentive, even as he tends to every individual table. Our experience was seamless and felt so unhurried. We can’t wait for our next visit to Bar-Ranch.

This place is an absolute gem. I’ve traveled world and have had many great eating experiences during those times. This ranks in the top 10. From the moment you walk in you will know an experience unlike any other is about to occur. Sit and enjoy the amazing steak and wine pairing. Great atmosphere where every little touch has been thought through. Also learning this is a veteran owned business gave us great pride to dine with BAR-Ranch.

Went for our anniversary dinner the room was a little warm but to be fair it was 110 degrees outside. Other than that everything about the evening was spectacular. There was even a bouquet of roses waiting on the table when we arrived that I hadn’t requested. The 20oz chateaubriand was amazing and the appetizer, sides and dessert made it a wonderful meal. The restaurant is fairly expensive but an occasional trip there is always on our radar.

Excellent overall experience. The service was top notch and the meal was delicious. We had the Wagyu Ribeye and it melted in your mouth. Whatever you do, be sure to get the brussels sprouts as they were the best we had ever had from anywhere.

This was one of the most incredible dining experiences we’ve ever had! Me and my husband celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and the staff delivered nothing short of perfection. This was our first visit, and it won’t be our last. What a fun and delicious experience. Literally everything we ate was delicious. The service was personable and exemplary. Lane, Josue, and Wilfredo (Executive Chef) took great care of us while we could see the entire team in the open kitchen working with intention to create a beautiful meal for all in the restaurant. We know our way around beef, but Lane taught us several things and let us try a steak we’d never tried before. For the quality and amount of food and the experience, it’s a bargain. Great food. Great people. Great time. Also, we’d never been in this area of Plano. We expected to pay for valet (like most places of this caliber), but the parking was free. *chef’s kiss*

Quaint restaurant, only 7 tables. Went for lunch and had the Thursday special. Burger was fresh, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Dinner here is amazing too. Service is attentive. Chef also comes around to chat.
