The neighbourhood Italian restaurant you’ve always dreamed of, Bar Prima features a luxurious atmosphere that evokes a sense of timelessness and nostalgia. The restaurant design captures an old-school charm with dimly lit ambiance, creating an elevated and elegant atmosphere. From Italian disco inspired music to vintage design touches, Chefs Craig Harding and Julian D’Ippolito have curated a space that feels as though it’s been there forever.

Bar Prima can at times feel opulent with its banquets and table lamps but can also feel relaxed and romantic. We seek to share our passion for food, beverage and hospitality, creativity and design with our open-minded guests!

The bar is absolutely adorable & the service was great! Would definitely return. We had delicious martinis and shared a few mains. The good was great.

Excellent from every possible perspective. Friendly and attentive service that wasn't pretentious...amazing food...lovely dining space. Absolutely a must on any Toronto best-restaurant list!!! GO.

Fantastic food , service ambiance waitress. Rachel our waitress was an encyclopedia of knowledge on all food items and pairings!!! Outstanding!!!

Was easily one of the best restaurants I have ever been to for a date. The ambience was incredible and the food was absolutely stunning. Our waitress was also incredibly helpful in deciding what to order food and drink wise as well as very personable. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for an amazing date spot

As a retired chef and passionate diner, I must say that this was one of the finest meals I have eaten. The service was a rare experience-efficient, professional, not obsequious and knowledgeable. The food hit the mark on every course for each of us. Hot food hot, well seasoned and beautifully presented without being prissy. The entire occasion was well paced and not rushed; we felt welcome to dine for as long as we liked. Fabulous experience. I wish that I lived in Toronto so that I could spoiled often at Bar Prima.

Good food but poor service. Came here for 3 year anniversary and was underwhelmed. Great ambience and cozy spot but it took 45 minutes for us to receive a single piece of bread…. Unacceptable
