I was very disappointed. The service was amateurish. They didn’t have any Prosecco, which I always expected to be available, in an Italian restaurant.

The steak I ordered was not medium well cooked and it was very chewy. Did have to ask for a few things like a steak knife and also had to ask for water. We felt like we were forgotten about.. but we did get dessert and it was very tasty.

The drinks were good, though definitely on the pricey side. I wouldn’t recommend dining here unless you’re okay with overpaying for unseasoned pasta. We should’ve known better given that “Bar” is in the name of this Eataly spot and that it’s right next to a landmark therefore the prices. That said, the dessert cocktail was worth trying, and the service was truly excellent. As for the food, the photos attached are the perfect example of how looks can be deceiving.

I love the restaurants at Eataly…..except this one. The food was good. The service, ambience, everything else about the experience was really subpar. I will not go back nor recommend it to anyone.

We had a lovely dinner at Bar Milano. The service was excellent: attentive but not hovering and we never felt rushed. The space is very attractive and chic. We were not terribly hungry so only ordered one course. The bread and olive oil were delicious. The risottos (my husband had vegetable; I had mushroom) were very good. I have a dairy allergy and can’t have cheese, so mine may be better when prepared as normal on the menu. The Sangiovese wine we ordered by the glass was so good that we went next door after dinner to buy a bottle. Such a lovely and relaxing evening. Thank you!

First time having dinner at Bar Milano. It was fairly quiet with a handful of tables, yet our service was mediocre. We had to glad him down for another drink and I never received the salt I asked for. The manager was too busy serving the table next to us Limoncello and then later a glass of wine or rose for three women. He passed by our table while asking how everyone was doing. The food was great and would certainly bring us back, but the service needs to step up to the quality of food.
