Great ambiance & service. Food was reasonably priced and equally tasty! Highly recommended! Can’t wait to revisit during the summer time when the rooftop is open.
I went last Friday evening for the first time. I loved the place. There was a three man band and I thought they were great. Service was great. The waitress was very attentive and kind. The food was great. I will go again very soon. I love to support Rockaway businesses and this is a great addition to the Rockaways. What better way to show your appreciation for making Rockaway great than to eat locally and enjoy yourself.
We enjoyed our dinner at Bar Marseille. The oysters were amazing.
This place is a gem. I’ve eaten there more than three times since they opened. The food is always fresh and delicious, the deviled eggs and moule frites are favorites, as well as the chicken Provençal. Great drinks as well. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Great spot!!
overpriced for quality
onion soup was on the sweet side
tunal burger just ok
Expand the menu a bit. I'm sure the experience would improve in warm weather
First time diner during Covid time and it was such a pleasure to be out on Friday night in a great space with god food and the bonus they had live music. The band was awesome! Everything was perfect!
This is a great new option for rockaway! The food is fabulous and wait staff couldn’t be more professional! I love the crispy artichokes and the pork chop was cooked perfectly!
Great place! Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu! Recommend the grilled oysters, French onion soup, eggplant gratin, grilled octopus!
Great food, friendly staff would definitely recommend it
The food & service is off the charts fabulous. Worth the trip!
Delicious drinks and appetizers.
Delicious endive salad, bouillabaisse and chicken Provençal. We will be trying the other dishes soon!
The staff was friendly and courteous. The restaurant is very modern, clean, and spacious. The "French Kiss" cocktail was delicious. All of the courses were excellent. The "Broadway Brunch" was wonderful. Great food, and amazing live music. I will definitely be back again.

Really sad to admit this was not at all what I expected from a new and seemingly fun and diverse restaurant. Especially during COVID. I’m adamant about supporting others during this time, especially in my community because I want to see it flourish and for other people to do well. But not at the expense of mistreating or devaluing me.
We were poorly greeted upon arrival; looking to enjoy a few drinks, midday, we were asked if we made a reservation. I hadn’t because I didn’t want to take away from those who were going for meals. Instead of finding out if there was room for us, we were fed a huge, unnecessary, explanation about the need for a reservation. I asked if there was room for us now or could the gentleman put in a reservation in which he replied, while holding his iPad, he was unaware of what was available.
That should have been my first clue to just leave but I didn’t. I went outside, booked a reservation and waited until the time, thinking all the while “this is crazy, he could have done this himself”.
It didn’t get any better once there. We ordered drinks that were served barely over half the glass and weren’t very tasteful. When we expressed our desire to change to the all you can drink buffet pitcher we were told that it ends soon. That’s it, no follow up until the very end when asked “were your drinks okay?” To which I replied “no, but you didn’t seem very concerned by that.”
So while I’m interested in supporting local businesses, I expect local business to be intentional about making it worth it. If food and drinks are less than desirable, that’s one thing; if service is subpar at best, that’s an entirely different story and one I’m not willing to invest my time nor money in, again.
I hope they get it together and soon, they are competing with neighboring restaurants who are much, much more pleasant and kind.
The ambiance was nice. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Drinks were made good hope it stays that way!
We ordered 5 apps and 1 main dish.
mussels were goos but sauce could use more salt. also not sure why onions were not chopped
oysters were good, mingnette sauce was perfect.
octopus was very good
i was not a fan of the charcuterie board. one meat, no cheese, chicken pate and salmon pate.
fried artichokes were great.
branzino was delicious and so was the nicolese salad.
really nice wine selection
Excellent food. Excellent service.
Had a wonderful meal for my husbands birthday , but do not wait for a special occasion to try this bistro-esqe French influenced establishment. The bar is beautiful ( tho not currently seating in the downstairs area) and well stocked. Signature cocktails served are city priced. We had oysters Rockefeller, Lou Lou salad, chicken Provençal & pasta piccata. Nice size servings . As for desert, wanted to try the olive oil lemon cake but it was not available.
Get there early and enjoy the sunset
Excellent service- food very good - ambiance fair considering your looking pretty much at construction site- music was on point - going back Friday
Sorry but hated the drinks.
A wonderful new French bistro in Rockaway is and was a delight! Amazing food - Beautiful atmosphere ... what an incredible dining experience!
Great food in a stellar setting overlooking the ocean.
A hidden gem in the Rockaway area. The food is absolutely amazing, in particular the Rockefeller oysters. The cherry on top was finding out they offer a bottomless brunch special on the weekends at an affordable price and use veuve cliquot champagne to make their Bellini‘s. Our waiter Edwin was amazing and offered Exceptional customer service. My friend and I made reservations to come with a larger party next week as we were more than pleased with the service and food offered at this establishment. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.
A new nice and clean place. Friendly and competent staff. Excellent food. Gorgeous roof terrace for outdoor dining.
Great addition to the Rockaways!!! Best of luck ! Will be back.
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience in visiting this new restaurant. Our tiny gin cocktail for $16 was served with a solid floating, not-at-all foamed egg white. When we mentioned it to one of the servers he dismissed it and did not remove it from our check or ask if there was anything else we wanted. Our bouillabaisse was inedible. The shrimp were still raw and the broth and cod had no flavor.
We hope that other people have a better experience here and will be looking forward to hearing that the food and service improve with time.
Really delicious food. Cant wait to come back here.
