   Overall, we loved Bar Margaux! We dined on a Tuesday night for my birthday. The only downfall was the service which could be improved. We had to wait a while to receive our food menu after ordering drinks and had to ask for cutlery but these instances were minor considering the food, drinks, and atmosphere were exquisite. I would definitely visit again!

   Was very disappointed and offended after such a nice meal to be spoken to quite inappropriately by one of the staff by the concierge desk. She made a comment asking if I was being a “Sugar daddy tonight” as I paid the bill. I initially didn’t understand what she meant out of naivety and innocence and asked her to repeat herself, and she did without any hesitation. This made me feel quite uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of my partner and frankly ruined our night as we reflected upon it on the way home. Why anyone working in customer service would choose to make a rude joke like that to a customer, I have no idea. Lovely food and cocktails however.

   We had a pre-theatre dinner booking which was a 60 minute setting. The set menu was a great shapshot of the larger menu they have on offer, and every item that came out was thoughtfully presented and tasted divine. The service was impeccable and our meal was completed before 60 minutes, although we didn't feel rushed in any way. Will definitely be back!

   Good food and service. A little too noisy for easy conversation. Not the real French bistro feel.

   Such a beautiful venue and would sadly love to love it, but the staff were incredibly rude. We were rushed so much that it was beyond ridiculous. It was for a birthday celebration for 3 of us and not once were we made to feel like it was a special occasion. We were asked repeatedly about ordering mains every couple of minutes and every time we said we weren’t ready, our wait staff seemed very put out. At one point, the waiter said to us with a bit of a gruff attitude “I’m not yelling at you!” We were like why did he say that?! It was very strange, being that we’d literally just asked for a wine list. The food is lovely, the ambience is gorgeous and the cocktails are fabulous. Being rushed so much to be out of there right from the word go isn’t fun though, neither is being talked down to, especially when you’re paying that much. Sadly, I would not return after that experience.

   Super gentle atmospheric late night eatery. We went to eat after the theatre which was just round the corner. Beautifully lit, nice and dim for late night. Lovely bottle of wine and delicious food. Great attentive friendly service. Fabulous

   Steak frites was very good. Cheese platter was a bit confused with fruit toast that detracted from the cheese. Very limited wine list with only 5 choices. Very loud. Also very dark - had to use my phone light to read the menu.
