We are eating our way through this menu and loved everything we have tried. The recipes are authentic especially the carbonara. No peas here but real guanciale. We have also had the bolognaise, the Sunday gravy, the veal parmigiana, veal piccata and veal saltimbocca. We would order each dish again. But one of the real gems is the lemon ricotta cheesecake. This desert is a must and it will bring back memories of the one your grandmother would make. Also it is important to note...I look for this desert everywhere I go. Maybe if you are lucky you may find it at Easter. At Bar Lino it is a stable and go there just to bring desert home. As for the service, I never have felt not attended to, last night Envyus took care of us. He had just the right amount of service not annoying but attentive to make sure our wine glasses were full and to check back just the right amount. Also it is important to note that the manager also made the rounds to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. As for ambiance, this is not a place for a romantic special occasion, but is is a great place to bring the family, for a Friday night unwind from a long work week or just a great place to get a good meal that Mom doesn't have to cook. We will continue to make this one of our neighborhood favorites.
