   We went on Sunday night and the food was amazing! Mouth watering flavours, delicious wine and lovely service from the Owner. Thank you, we will be back. A+++

   Enjoyed a delightful lunch here. The waitress Maddy was wonderful. We enjoyed absolutely delicious food. We shared a scallop entree, and slow cooked pink shoulder of veal, which was very tasty, and finished off with an absolutely scrumptious pistachio crème brûlée. I have always enjoyed the food, service and ambience at this restaurant.

   We dine out a lot, once a week on average, and this is the best restaurant I have visited in years. It is truly a gift to us in the North West. The chef has an extraordinary palate - every dish is perfectly balanced and seasoned. The front of house is delightful, the premises are charming, and it is absurdly good value. I mean $29 for two pieces of succulent lobster tail in a delicate saffron broth with potatoes, leeks and radish is madness. Even the salad is exemplary. The desserts are all home-made, including the amazing ice-cream. We have been for lunch three times and cannot wait for the fourth chance to visit. Very interesting wine list too with great options by the glass. Cannot recommend more highly. Order the calamari with romesco sauce if it’s a special - you will not be disappointed. 10/10, no notes.

   This is one of the best restaurants north of the Yarra River. The food is all class. The Barramundi was as good as I have had anywhere. The wine list is replete with European wines and reasonably priced. The ambiance is good and service exceptional. Put simply--Bar Libretto is a gem of a restaurant. Michael Glen
