   Another incredible meal at Bar Le Cote! This place never disappoints. Incredible service too. Great way to spend Mother’s Day with my mom and daughter.

   One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I had the day boat scallop crudo with pickled mushrooms and I can’t stop thinking about it! The broth, the scallop, the cute little mushrooms, everything was delicate yet flavorful. I also had the halibut, which was beautiful and delicious with bright little peas. The wine options are excellent, as is the service. Just great all round.

   Sister restaurant to nearby Michelin star Bells. Specializes in local sourced produce and Santa Barbara seafood. Highly creative menu. Outstanding front of house staff. Highly knowledgeable and provide excellent suggestions. Very intimate space yet surprisingly quiet even with a full house. No bar but tremendous wine list full of hidden gems for the Santa Ynez Valley. Perfect spot for special occasions. If you luck get John C. as your waiter.

   Local night thursdays, lots of young people with the best behaved babies known to man. Great atmosphere and outstanding wait staff. Best experience for a long while for fine dining

    In all of our times in Los Olivos this was first time at Bar Le Côte. It was recommended by a co-worker so we wanted to make sure to check out during or visit. The ambience and decor were great and our server, Henry, was attentive and friendly. His recommendation for wine was spot on. We started off with the yellowtail crudo which was tasty and refreshing. To counter the healthiness of that we decided to try their BLC Spiced Fries. They were perfectly fried and seasoned and included a dipping sauce that made me forget about ketchup. For the entree my wife ordered the Crispy Skin Branzino and I selected the Heritage Pork Chop. Both were expertly cooked and delicious. We loved the fennel sides that accompanied both dishes, but the puree for the pork chop was far too salty for my tastes. We capped off the dinner with homemade ice cream soaked in brandy. It was simply awesome. Overall we really enjoy our experience at Bar Le Côte and we definitely plan to go back. We appreciated that Henry clearly announced that a service charge had been included in the bill (even though this was also printed on the menu). Henry provided such great service we added a little more. If you like seafood, this is definitely the place to go in Los Olivos. And if you don't, you'll still find plenty to enjoy at this gem of a restaurant.
