Bar Le Côte is a stylish seafood tavern located in Los Olivos, California. Inspired by the daily catch of the Central Coast and the modern cuisine of Europe’s seaside capitals, our team prepares thoughtful maritime fare in a casual, social atmosphere.

We have very limited patio seating and do not allow dogs to dine indoors. If you would like to reserve an outdoor table please email us at info@barlecote.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We hold a portion of our tables for walk-ins, however we do recommend a reservation to guarantee being seated. We give all reservations a 15 minute grace period before being released to other guests. Thank you for your understanding!

* Please note that ride shares and taxis can be hard to come by in the valley, especially later in the evening. We will always do our best to assist in getting you a ride, but please plan accordingly *

Peel & Eat Shrimp were enormous—and delicious. I almost always opt for patio seating, but the inside ambience was so cool & comfortable that I ate inside. Service was excellent.

We read a review that said the waiting staff had attitude. Damn if they weren’t right. In the lottery of getting seated we drew Kate, I’d call her short but not to here face. At first she was reserve, so we’re we. One glass of a great local wine and we loosened, so did she. I mentioned the review I had read, and it was on! We had so much fun with her. At some point the chef came over and he kidded that it would be her last night. She made our night! I can’t recommend this restaurant because we don’t want to compete for a reservation!

As usual a great experience. Food is always outstanding, the service great and the overall experience was one of comfort and delight. We made our manu up of appetizers (like eating tapas) and were full before we even got to the main courses. We have been at BLC many times and will return many times.

Henry was awesome! I asked him to surprise me and choose my meal and he did a terrific job! Will come back any time I am in town.

Quality of food was superb. Super fresh with much attention to detail. Wine list was amazing. Cuisine was french/spanish/Mediterranean

This is the best date night restaurant in the central coast. My partner and I come here to celebrate everything. We love the N/A options, all of the food (the halibut was incredibly light and fresh) and the amazingly attentive staff. Looking forward to our next visit.
