    Always good food. Love the atmosphere but the night we came the service was slow. Might have been due to festival in Lakewood that evening and the restaurant being very crowded.

    Sometimes when I read reviews, I don't always accept them at Face Value. this time I should have! The vibe is GREAT. The food is GREAT. The service was GREAT!     The wine list isn’t bad, with a few Italian wines! The food is really good. The country bread is fantastic. The chicken limon is excellent too. Our server, Jesse, gives just the right amount of attention and will make honest suggestions (not the usual “it’s good”, even if it isn’t). My only complaint are the chairs. They feel like high chairs and they are narrow. Poor chairs have become the new normal, unfortunately. Also, the restroom is pretty chilly. The decor and music is very nice. Solid Italian restaurant.

    This was my second time at Bar Italia in Lakewood.. I plan to return again soon! Food was excellent but could have used a little more bread. We went for my mom’s 85th birthday and she loved it. Our waiter Jesse was very good!

    Originally found Bar Italia on Instagram years ago. It was our first time at the Lakewood location. Michael was our server and he was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and professional. The general manager was also very kind. The zucchini fritti is a must! They came out hot and cooked to perfection. I always recommend the crispy chicken limone— it’s one of my favorites! I am still waiting for a location in the Akron area!

    first time there and it was a great restaurant for a night before Thanksgiving dinner. The place was packed and the service was still amazing - Bianca was great. The veal, snapper and pasta dishes were amazing.

    Very good service, pasta side was undercooked.chicken parm was average with chicken limon excellent. Provided complimentary dessert for my wife’s birthday (cheesecake was excellent). Very nice ambience with bar service unavailable due to large crowd from happy hour around 6.

    While the food was good, I was a little dissapointed that bread was not served with the salad. When we asked the waitress she told us bread would be extra. We ordered the bread and it was served along with the entree of pasta. The pasta entree included two pieces of bread which we did not know was included. We were asked if we wanted to return the bread we ordered and opted to do so. It would have been nice if the two pieces of bread came out with the salad we ordered. Also, there were no small dinner salads available as an add on. We opted for a chop salad which the waitress split in two. It would have been nice if a small salad and bread was included with the entree.

    Consistently great experience. We’ve always appreciated the service. The salads are best around and I highly recommend the beef carpaccio. Kids love the Meatballs and pizza. And wife loves the wine selection.

    Great food and ambiance. The service was slow however and the restaurant was not too crowded. We arrived at 5 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 and that didn’t include dessert.

    The food was fantastic. Drinks were fantastic. We left our table once we were done eating and tabbed out to grab a couple more drinks at the bar so we didn’t take up a dining table and didn’t have to move to a different location. Can’t say enough good things about this place and it’s service!
