   We had dinner there on a Friday evening. The food and service were fine but the noise level was deafening and would make me think about going back there again. I will recommend it but with serious reservations.

   Our server Joshua was excellent! The food was really good except the salmon was a little bland. We’ve had the Mediterranean pizza & Lemon Chicken Primavera twice & loved them both times. We really like the restaurant, except every time we visit, our son hits his head on the back of the marble topped booths. Next time we’ll ask for a table!

   This was a different restaurant before (Lindy's Lake House) from what I can tell, the only thing that changed was the name of the place. From what I can tell, nothing much was done to the interior. As far as the food - I would put this in below average to average Italian. Nothing memorable on the menu. Everything was okay or below ok. We tried few things on the menu: Bread with whipped Ricotta (okay, Ricotta was very bland and tasted like a whipped cream cheese/butter, we didn't finish the third of the dish), Zucchini fritters (average), Buca Bolo (okay), Branzino (below average), Chicken Pesto (okay). From the desserts, we wanted to try tiramisu but they don't make it in house (which is pretty suprising for the Italian restaurant) so we went for Spumoni trio, which is served as a far - while on a surface it seems like a good idea, once it starts melting, it turns into one big blob and flavors starts to mix together to the point that you don't know which flavor you are eating. Don't think I will be coming back.

   Did not like the Bar Italia Chopped salad!!! The salami in the salad tasted old and not very appetizing. Very disappointing. Also the portion of the Italian wedding soup was pretty small for a full size soup entre. Yes recommend to a friend but avoid thee two items.

    I have been to hecks 3 times… food is delicious However I have a nut and fish allergy and when I tell the server he or she doesn’t seem to take it seriously because my food all three times has come to table with nuts and I have had to send it back… this is concerning… the servers need to take food allergies a little more serious when it comes to the client… I will go back because food and atmosphere is great

    Nice atmosphere!! Zucchini appetizer was fantastic, but the spaghetti was saturated in too much sauce and the meatballs were way too spicy!! My wife's chicken parmigiana was extremely too salty too!! Would have been so much better if lightly salted and meatballs not so spicy. Will come back again and make sure to tell the server no salt on both meals or seasoning, (if that is possible), and we can add our own very light amount of salt ourselves salt next time! Our server was FANTASTIC!!

    Host staff needs more training. Arrived early and in spite of several open tables I was Asked to wait 15 minutes. Tables at windows are underneath heat lamps running at full blast (not necessary and frankly annoying). Plus, it’s very dark. Too dark. Food was ok. My friend had lemon cream pasta she said was flavorless. I had shrimp fra Diablo-needed more shrimp but otherwise very good. Sausage bread is delightful-highly recommend. We had to ask for cheese once we were served-Italian restaurants should always offer cheese. We will return again despite need for minor improvements.

    Happy that our booth was quiet and in a corner - as requested. Very nice ambiance. The lunch pizza was a bit bland - had the shrimp. Great verde salad. Thanks for not rushing us.

    Server was very kind. Food was ok. 2 people in my party ordered and said “can you ask the chef to not make it dry”, meaning didn’t want the chicken Parm with no sauce practically on it. Server brought meal and 2 sides of sauce didn’t ask for and charged us for it without even telling or asking if want extra sauce. Manager came over to see what was wrong and was rude and condescending!!!!! Everything including bread ala carte. Place more on expensive side. Will not return

Our Chicken Parm is served with a good amount of sauce on it already. It sounds like the server understood you wanted more sauce. I'm sorry he did not communicate that there is already sauce on it and that there is a charge for extra. Chicken parm and all pasta dishes are served with bread. My sincere apologies for leaving you with the negative impression.

    A little pricey for what you get. Pasta portions are small. Drinks are good. We asked for a few things but our server forgot. The music is a little loud.

    We had an enjoyable evening at Bar Italia. We had a nice table. The lasagna and salad were very good, the toasted bread great. Our waiter was attentive at first but then soooo slow later. We had the cheesecake that was a combo of cheesecake and Crem Brule. It was too sweet for our liking. We would go back again, maybe with friends and the vibe was good.

    We were seated by the windows and it was by very cold. I had to cover my legs with my coat to keep from shivering. The noise level was not energetic, it was loud enough to make normal dinner conversation difficult. Food and service was excellent.

    Terrible. They cancelled our reservation 45 minutes before hand because they forgot to turn off booking and wanted to go home! I actually want to eat here, I hope the food is good. But it ruined my anniversary.
