The old is celebrated in new ways at Bar George, a modern-day rendezvous set in the grand heritage home once belonging to Sir George Stephen.     My husband and I ordered the same appetizer but different main dishes. We loved the appetizers and our mains were delicious! The flavour was just right. The lobster risotto had a very nice twist, with the addition of mint. We will be back ,

    Overpriced, 70$ for a lobster risotto that tasted like it was made with frozen lobster, bread tasted stale. Waiters didn’t look around to see if you need anything, we needed to flag a waiter down each time our glass was empty or needed something. At the end of our meal our waiter had just disappeared and we finally got up and asked the host for the bill. It’s a beautiful building, but the music was loud and the dining room was so hot. I’ve been before and always had a great experience, I’m hoping this is just an off night.

    Staff was very disorganized and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to clear a table for us. Bad start. Service was ok but slow. And it was not busy.

    My experience was amazing. Mon server etait Vincent. Son service était vraiment hors pair! Mon pain perdu flambé était exquis!

    Took a very long time for everything. Coffee took a long time toast we ordered came as we were pretty much finished. Was very expensive at $50 plus per for brunch.

    Service was excellent, we were six, three of us were very happy with our choice ( duck confit with couscous); however the other three were not impressed with their choices! Especially the vegetarian option did not look appetizing. I had looked at the menu online the day before and because of the Grand Prix the prices were augmented! Which I find shameful.

    The atmosphere was once in a lifetime. The service was impeccable and the flow had a great cadence to it! It’s a must visit!
