Our focus is on our wines, sourced with care from family owned, small production bodegas from all over the wine (and sake, and beer) producing world. Here, we pair our beverage offerings with a food menu of simply prepared dry aged and cured meats, cooked in our open fireplace, and local seafood, served raw, cured or smoked in our passive heat masonry smoker. We have a small bread program, as well as a selection of vegetables, prepared pickled or roasted. Our beverage and food offerings rotate daily, and a sample menu can be seen here. Stop by to grab a bottle or two to go, we have a Bottle Shop selection as well.

Bar Ferdinand was the perfect date night. The ambience was exactly what we wanted. No distractions with TVs just dim lighting and great music. The service was fantastic as well! Great recommendations for food and very knowledgeable when it came to their wine selection. Already recommended it to my friends. Keep up the great work!

Ridiculously expensive, poor tasting wine in a tiny glass. Absolute waste of time. My date and I left after one glass of wine.

My fiancé and I went for dinner and had a lovely time. There is great lighting and we sat just outside the kitchen. This is not somewhere to go if you are in a rush as they bring your plates out one at a time when they are ready.

Only go here if you have at least 2 hours for the experience. Also, the service charge is 20%. Usually if it is mandatory, it is only 10 to 15. . . .Just raise your prices.

The mood wasn’t as expected. The bartender/server wasn’t warm at all, so it didn’t match the vibe of the space. The string lights were oddly too bright which was awkward for a date, and it was empty which made the conversation almost too intimate. Food and service subpar.

This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed the food, spirits, and ambiance. We’ll definitely return and recommend the venue to others!

We got the “owner treatment” from our male server identified as “bartender” on the check — when we asked whether dish substitutions could be made (side of rice, etc) the server just said “no” — extremely curt response as if daring us to complain and they never asked if we had been there before or knew about the included gratuity before the check arrived. We were convinced that only someone who couldn’t be fired would act with such low regard for our comfort by the end of the meal. The server acted as if we should know everything about the food and experience without ever asking and made no attempt to refill our water or make us comfortable. When a better server started to give us food and water, the bad server shooed them away — I think our server was actively trying to make sure that we wouldn’t come back by being very cold. We weren’t rude, just unsure about what we should expect. I could understand going here if I was alone and the food was better because good food is worth that mistreatment, but their food was actually just average — very pretty but lacking flavor. Maybe that was because I got the chicken dumplings though.
