“Difficult to see; always in motion is the future.” —Yoda, (The Empire Strikes Back)

Our intergalactic trips around the galaxy are back for you to enjoy. From the deserts of Tatooine to the forest moon of Endor, you can drink & dine across galaxies. This time both sides of the force have taken over Hotel Madrid. Reserve a private room for 2-10 guests.

Our outdoor plaza space will be heated & enclosed rooms resembling the planets of Hoth, Mustafar, Endor, Tatooine, Coruscant, Naboo, and Kashyyyk available for private bookings. This intergalactic journey includes full service of a carefully curated cocktail menu inspired by the force along with delightful bites & our house tapas menu. Each enclosed patio room is equipped with lounge-style seating, heaters and fire-pits for your comfort. (We recommend bringing along a jacket just in case!)

Lastly costumes are welcome and even encouraged, we are here to provide a fun experience and let you escape to our Bar Far Far Away!

Such fun! Outdoor "rooms" are decorated as various planets in the Star Wars universes. Blow ups and other decor are added for ambiance, and modern takes on Star Wars-classic music tops it off. Drinks are pricey but delicious. Food was scrumptious. Expensive considering the $10 per person reservation fee, but a fun way to spend a birthday.

The food was incredible, and we enjoyed the variety of dishes to choose from. Portion sizes varied quite a bit from dish to dish, and some dishes were much larger than pictured, which was a pleasant surprise for sharing. Each dish was well prepared and presented beautifully. We were relatively disappointed by the atmosphere, considering the $10/person “experience” charge. The waitstaff wasn’t dressed for the theme, and some banged-up cardboard cutouts, a giant blowup Jabba and a couple wall hangings didn’t make that extra $40 spent worth it for our party. The website boasted photo ops, but we were led quickly to our private area and not told about any other areas we could see. Service was very sparse and hands off. We only saw our server, Jim, in quick bursts to drop off food and pick up plates. He didn’t explain the menu, and seemed rushed whenever we used our call button. We couldn’t tell if he was stretched thin or just uninterested. We didn’t appreciate the payment system at all. It would have been easier for our party of two couples to just hand over two credit cards and split the bill, instead of the confusion of all paying for our own stuff separately. We’ll likely come back to dine inside; I would caution anyone against purchasing an “experience” of themed dining here, as for us it just was meh and not worth the extra $40 overall.

First time here and we LOVED it! You get your own little section, there are Star Wars decorations everywhere. I loved the Baby Yodas everywhere. You order drinks and food through your phone using the QR code. There is a button to call your server if you need extra plates or napkins. We ordered some drinks that came in cool mugs/cups. I was surprised at how much was inside of them. All the food items that we ordered were delicious. We had a fun time taking pictures and enjoyed our time in our own little themed room. We will definitely be back again. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed our experience. The only thing that could be changed to be better, would be serving the non-alcoholic beverages in themed cups too, my teenagers were kind of bummed that we (the adults) got our drinks in cool mugs and they got regular glasses. Otherwise, it was a really fun time. We went on their Sunday night family night and had a blast.

It was my second time with the experience and I enjoyed it even more this time. My friends had not been to Hotel Madrid before and were really impressed. Food was fantastic as always. They always have such creative marketing and new ways to make an awesome dining experience.

WAY overpriced food! Two people paid $98 when all was said and done.l and neither of us got drinks or dessert even. The tiny little tapas plates were all $9-15 each and came with two bites per person, basically. Tapas are supposed to be small sampling and sharing plates, but in the dozens of tapas places I've tried across the USA and other countries, I've never seen portion sizes so tiny for a $15 plate! And they weren't even that good. Only one we genuinely liked were the barbacoa tacos. The empanada and crab toasts tasted like something I'd buy out of a Walmart grab n go case and heat up in a microwave. Then their was the ambiance. We paid for a private experience Star Wars room and it was totally bland and unoriginal. Basically you were outside in a tent with a little fireplace and some Star Wars themed cut outs and tapestries. There were a few inflatable Christmas decorations. That was it. You could pay $15-20 for a drink in a fun cup....but not get to keep the cup. For this to be an "experience" I'd expect some interactive elements, actual music and/or sound clips playing, things to read on the wall, props you could play around with, themed food (not just renaming your actual menu items) etc. We paid $20 to sit by a campfire and look at cheap Amazon tapestries. Don't waste your money. We got stuff from the food truck on our walk back to the car for $20 and THAT was fantastic! Movida, at least the experience rooms, was absolute garbage.

As always the food is served very quickly and the staff is very gracious. My only complaint is the room reservation fee, ten dollars per person adds up when you’re also doing a service charge and a tip. I would prefer a flat fee. Thanks again, mk.

We had a great time at Bar Far Far Away. We were a little underwhelmed with the "private room" but quickly warmed up to the fun as we got our first drinks. The food was the star of the night, everything was spectacular. I highly recommend the shishito peppers and croquettes. I don't know that I need to partake in the Bar Far Far Away another time, but I will be back to the cute little bar we walked past for that food again.
