Dinner: Sunday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 4:00pm - 12:00am
Good food but portion could be on the small side and a bit overpriced. Nice ambiance and the servers are always thoughtful, kind, and professional. I went on a Wednesday to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and Enrique, who was there playing his guitar kept on serenaded my friend and made the whole place laugh. Made the evening fun, so thank you!
This restaurant is incredibly consistent with excellent food and service. We've tried everything on the menu at least once, and every meal has been fantastic. Our favorites are the duck risotto and the black cod, but you really can't go wrong with any of the dishes. We especially appreciate the fact that while one particular person will be assigned to your table, the entire waitstaff team will help deliver drinks and plates when they're ready, so there is no needless waiting. This restaurant is in our top three favorite places to eat of all time, and if you go you'll discover why.
My favorite special occasion Edmonds restaurant by far! Unique Asian meets Latino meets comfort food flavors.
Service was great, very friendly and efficient. Was really nice of them to comp the dessert for the birthday girl! Food was good, but not outstanding, and was very overpriced. Probably will not return for that reason. But definitely worth a try if you don't mind paying for it
Really good food and great staff. A little pricey for me everyday eating out but totally worth from time to time.
Amazing and tasty food per usual. Always eat well when I dine here. I have taken many of my friends visiting from LA here as well and they have all loved the food.
My girlfriends and I have been coming here for about 2 1/2 years now. Every time is fantastic. The food is amazing and the live guitar on Wednesday night is that extra cherry on top that makes this place so special. When we organize a Ladies Night 9 our of 10 times it’s going to be at Bar Dojo.
Bar Dojo was my current favorite restaurant. I have invited many people and groups to join me there and they have accepted my invitation.
The last few times I are at Bar Dojo, including this past Tuesday night, it was not good food. It seemed to me that there was no kitchen quality control.
I write this with deep disappointment because in the past I thought it was a superb neighborhood restaurant that I wanted to and did invite lots of friends to.
I really hope they correct the quality of food problem.
Tucked away from busy Edmonds, this small hidden restaurant was recommended by a friend. We were a bit surprised when we drove up that this was the place she was raving about.
Once we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the place.
The service was good and the food was amazing, although a bit expensive but worth it to celebrate our anniversary.
We went to Bar Dojo for our anniversary. We live very close and have been here several times over the years. The food is always excellent. The pork belly tacos are AMAZING! Try them with a side of the avocado rice.
Since it was our anniversary they gave us a dessert on the house. Great food and good atmosphere. I highly recommend it.
Just go. You will never regret the decision.
Love this restaurant! Food great! Only complaint is noise level. We booked st 4:30pm for dinner- quiet until 5:30. Restaurant needs something to keep noise level down! Can’t hear person across from you!
The food was delicious and the drinks were creative. Loved it all!
Food overall was excellent. The potato starch fried chicken bites are awesome.
The noise level was too high for us. I found the food to be good & the waitress was good.
We always enjoy our time at Bar Dojo. All the staff are amazing and food is delicious!
Had the Crab Poke which was delicious. Everyone was very satisfied with their orders. The Asian ribs looked particularly good. Their Dragon Fire cocktail is a delight. It is a friendly small place that is well worth your while.
Food and service was excellent. Numerous food items to choose from with wide variety
Sunday night is our night to go to Bar Dojo. Always an assortment of asian fusion inspired tacos. One of the best burgers as well.
The place was pretty busy so definitely set a reservation with that being said the staff was great and the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. As far as the food goes it was spot on. I had the duck and risotto and it was Amazing... My date had the blackened cod and I have to say it was probably the best cod I've ever had. Trust me if you try this place it will become your new favorite. I'm definitely going back again...
We went here spontaneously with a George up of friends. We had lots of small plates and cocktails. Everything was amazing. Creative and unique Asian fusion. Local and yummy. We came back the next week to try some entrees. Can not recommend enough.
The food was excellent! We all ordered something different, and we all enjoyed what we got! The waitress was very helpful with her recommendations and suggestions. Can't wait to go back and try something new!
this is the second time we have been here and it is still great! We came for my birthday on a Friday night and expected it to be very crowded so made a reservation for 6 o'clock. It wasn't crowded at all! The time was probably why. The food was great again, cocktails pretty stiff! All and all a great place to go!
Outstanding. Best kept secret in Edmonds!
Server was great! Food was delicious! I'll be coming back for more! Recommending this place to others.
Bar none, Bar Dojo is our favorite restaurant in Edmonds! Superb Asian fusion, generous cocktails, the friendliest wait staff, and on Wednesday nights, I believe, a classical guitarist. The Ahi Poke Tacos, Pork Dumplings, chicken wings, and burger are musts. So are their sides, like the pork and tofu falafel-like 'balls', or the avocado rice. The chef has a knack for combining flavors in ways that will wow you. Love it!
Happy hour menu plus the dinner menu offered so many choices! I will return!
We had a great visit and the food is excellent.
Excellent food. Cocktails weren’t my favorite but i did try new things!
We loved going to Bar Dojo. Our friends from Japan enjoyed it very much, and said they'd like to visit again soon.
Our server, Shelly, was dependably gracious, warm, and efficient. Enrique, on Wednesday nights, makes the evening.
Good food that is different from the same old thing.
Bar Dojo has been our "go-to" restaurant for several years, for bringing guests, going out with family or hitting it late (10:30ish) after a show. The setting is unassuming but we go there for the wonderful Asian-Fusion cuisine, the prompt, efficient and friendly service, and the great drinks (thank you Mathew). They have a reasonably large menu, which changes out as the chief experiments with new offerings, but rotating back the best dishes over time. The shared dishes (appetizers) are almost always stellar (oh, those coconut prawns and pork dumplings!), to the point that you can make a wonderful shared meal by ordering several and foregoing the entree...if you can resist. We're usually too full to enjoy the desserts, but the ones we've had have been of the same creativity and high calibre as the main menu items. Wednesday nights they have live music so make a reservation. There are a several real good restaurants in the Edmonds area, but this one is consistently our favorite.
This place is amazing. It's a bit pricey, but you are getting a good amount of great quality food and paying accordingly. Highly recommended.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Food and service is always outstanding.
This was the first time I actually felt like my meal (and others at my table) lacked something; it was the lack of color. All four meals looked this way. Very disappointed but am hoping they will fix the problem. We eat first with our eyes; and in the past my meals were always beautiful; but this time we all felt the same way.
Enjoyable as always!
The food and service at Bar Dojo are fantastic. We have been many times and are never disappointed. Special favorites are the dumplings. ahi tacos, and crispy tofu.
Food was impeccable as usual. Jason our waiter is just as fun as can be. I only say this because we absolutely love the place and wish it 100% success for years to come; but the greeter met us with “can I help you?” Kinda weird..like we walked into an auto parts Store or something. Anyways, way picky, I know but a little off-putting.
Decided to go on a date here after reading good reviews and just having move to the area. Restaurant was in a different than expected location, cozy, some might say crowded with little parking. However, inside is a small, lightly dimmed restaurant WITH AMAZING FOOD. Not a fan of the close seating especially on a date, but the food will definitely bring me back. I had the Geisha drink which was very refreshing and shared the pork belly tacos and chili wings. THEY WERE SO FLAVORFUL.
