Fantastic delicious food! Second time at Bar Dojo in one month. Wish there was a second location in Skagit County.

Our absolute favorite place to eat out on special occasions! No matter what you order, it won’t disappoint! Super good food. Our must “go to” with every meal is the side of avacado rice. Highly recommend bar dojo to any and everyone!

Always a favorite for either a casual drink and dessert with friends, or date night dinner. Excellent service and entertaining bar tender.

We met our friends there for dinner. We had visited one time previously but were not impressed. Thought we would give it another try since these and other friends continue to rave about Bar Dojo. Our friends loved the dishes they chose. My husband enjoyed his choice of crab and grits. I thought my ribs were just ok but the fries and coleslaw were delicious. We all really liked the appetizers...especially the tempura bacon. The service was excellent! We were there for about two hours. We never felt rushed and our water and drinks never ran out. Parking there can be difficult because there are two other restaurants and a convenience store sharing the parking lot. There is street parking nearby.

Great neighborhood restaurant with tasty food. We celebrated a family birthday there and everyone had a great time. The only slight challenge is limited vegetarian options as one or our party is a vegetarian.

Great appetizers, entrees, dessert and sides! Lots to choose from and a great wine list per the people next to us. Shelly is a great server and Andrew, the owner, is very nice as well. Make a reservation as it’s popular!

We were early, but a table was ready for us. Ordering was prompt. Staff were friendly, but in the front alcove, had to wait a while to get their attention for mid-meal service request. Food good, but a mixed bag. We ordered a salad and two shares. The pork-belly tacos and cucumber salad were wonderful, the lamb riblets were crispy salted bones with very little meat and a twice-cooked flavor that benefited from the salty disguise; a poor value; would not order again. Main seating area very crowded and noisy, a big party atmosphere, but front three tables considerably less commotion. This was our second visit; looking forward to returning to try different things and perhaps get to raise score to outstanding.

Food is usually first-rate here, and it was again this time -- mostly. Uninspired prawn dish with mush at the bottom, so avoid that. This restaurant is in a strip mall, but diners shouldn't be deterred, as it is very nice inside with an unusual fusion menu.

The food was delicious and the service was great! Our server helped us with our order as we weren’t sure of which items to order. They have a great variety of Asian fusion food and the food is impeccable. They also have an amazing wine list per
the people around us. Make a res as it’s popular!

The order took a very long time, and we didn’t say anything about it (just enjoying catching up) yet they covered one of our two bottles of wine when they brought out the food. They knew, and they took care of us!

My first time at Bar Dojo and my friend and Iboth were very impressed. Ambiance was lovely; very friendly staff; menu was interesting and allowed for sharing of small plates; food included veggie & meat choices; everything we had was tasty, attractive and interesting. We would definitely return again. Highly recommended!

We hadn't been back here for a while - previously the menu felt stale so there was nothing new to try. Not on this visit! Creative fusion flavors and a lot of variety - we had trouble ordering - but when for comfort food with the pork belly bowl and the 3-course prix fixe with ramen and pumpkin mouse cheesecake. We'll be back.

Excellent lamb chops, but a special occasion entree. Crowded on a Sunday night but people seemed to enjoy the Asian emphasis.

We were really excited to try this restaurant for Seattle Restaurant week. We went on a Sunday evening. It took 45 minutes to receive our appetizers. We ran out of drinks and water without our waiter noticing. The flavor of the food was awesome but there were mushrooms in my ramen dish when they weren't listed on the menu and giant chunks of pork that were impossible to eat with the chopsticks and small soup spoon. They also cut up small pieces of Thai chili without seeding them so they were like little spice bombs throughout the dish that were so spicy they were inedible.

Dessert was by far our favorite part. I had the banana tempeh with coconut ice cream. It was delicious. My husband had the matcha mint affagato which was really good.

Three stars because overall the flavor was amazing but execution was poor. And service was a little lackluster. But giving them the slight benefit of the doubt there because it was a Sunday night during restaurant week. But wouldn't recommend because you can get way more authentic food that tastes great for a lot less in the Seattle area.

It was a Thursday night - noisy - loud group with 2 young kids, plus groups of women who were just too loud - they forget that not everyone wants to hear their conversation. Food was good - I had the lamb - but one of the ribs was overcooked - the rest was good. Service was slow -We have been customers for long time and we go for the food - which is generally very good. Our waitress did state that the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed. We were there for two hours but a simple dinner. On a slow night - the service and food is excellent -

Food was excellent as usual. What was not was the service. After our order was taken the waiter disappeared, he was nowhere in the room. No checking on beverages or food. We had to ask for assistance since several of had food to be boxed up. I know this is not the norm so I won’t quit visiting but it did not meet the usual experience.

I guess it’s true that you find the best food experiences in strip malls. I would’ve driven by and not even noticed it (and almost did, trying to find it). I thought the food was fantastic, but my company was hoping to see one or two items that were a little more pared down. I loved the pork dumplings and the Dojo Burger. He was less enthused about the pork tacos, too many toppings obscuring the delicious chunks of pork!
