Always a pleasure at BAR DOJO. Exquisite food, well-crafted cocktails, and a well kept secret that deserves to be let out. The guitarist was the icing on the cake, and I don’t mean the cheap nasty kind...Enrique is simply amazing. We’ll be back for sure.
Its hard to improve on excellence. This was a birthday celebration and the honoree left Bar Dojo in a happy mood. If she's happy, I'm happy. Thank you Bar Dojo. We'll be back!
My husband and I love Bar Dojo. We had a table tucked off to the side which was great as the main dining area can get pretty crazy/noisy. The only downside to our table's location was that we got hit with a draft every time someone came through the door. The food was delicious! We ordered oysters, calimari, pork belly tacos, sautéed broccolini, and pork dumplings. We could have eaten more (everything is always so tasty) but we were getting very full and decided to stop before we regretted our choice. Our server did a great job of staggering the dishes so that we were finishing off one dish before the next one came out. We'll definitely keep coming back!
used to love it and recommended it to many. this time, i was told no availability until 8:30. go there are 8:15 and there were 10 open tables. I was told they would call if I could get in earlier. but they didn't.
food was so spicy, I didn't really enjoy it. had to wash it down with ice water. will reconsider ever going again. will not recommend. I am sad about that.
We love that the menu changes periodically and the variety of items we have tried are amazing!
This is a lovely place; it is intimate, yet lively, and the service is wonderful. Great variety of small plates and large.....everything we had was delicious. And they make a perfect Manhattan. We also liked that you can get wine by the glass in different sizes!!
The food is always great here. We are regulars. We love the Ahi Tacos and the Burger - seriously great burger :)
Absolutely great food and always fantastic atmosphere.
One of my favorite restaurants. One of the best Asian-fusion menus ever!
Blown away.. hole in a wall from the outside but what a gem inside.. it was worth driving from Redmond for an amazing meal. Definitely coming back because other dinner items looked yummy as well
First time here. Food was fantastic and service was excellent. Will be back soon!
We love everything about this place!
This restaurant does a great job of combining a “local” feel with a very high quality & creative menu. The wait staff always recognizes us and makes us feel very welcome.
Great experience, service and food. We had the poke crab dinner and ahi tacos! The drinks and donut holes as well. Everything was perfect!! Great date night
We had another great experience at Bar Dojo, made even better by our wonderful waiter, Dustin. He took good care of us and our egg allergy, and made the birthday party special. If you haven't tried the avocado, bacon and cauliflower tempura, you are missing out.
Wonderful place to enjoy time with that special someone! Happy hour is a great bargain with lots of tasty eats to choose from. Wednesday sushi night is amazing! Our server Dustin was the best! Will visit again soon!
The food is excellent, but many of the tables are close together so it feels cramped and can be awkward / annoying to to try to use the restroom without bumping your chair into the strangers around you.
Always enjoyable, especially fond of the crab poke bowl with avocado rice. The poke tacos are incredible too.
Celebrating Shuberts anniversary was special!
Service and spacing of dishes was exemplary.
First 1/2 of menu was best. (Oysters were Devine)
Black cod was a little mushy.
Doughy dessert was out of context but ice cream was perfect.
All in all,a wonderful evening and experience.
Everything on the special 6-course tasting menu was delicious! Chef Luis's creations never fail to impress. The service was a bit slower than usual, but that was likely because of the special offerings in addition to the regular menu items. Overall, delighted by the experience.
Excellent. Selected chef's choice to celebrate the establishment's 6th anniversary.
The food is so good.
We went for the 6 course special tonight and added the wine pairing. This was hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Been to many events with wine pairings and none have come close to the delightful and experienced matching to cuisine as tonight.
Our first time here with friends from Seattle. The food was beyond our expectations. Recommend ordering as many options as you dare and then share share shere.
This was our first visit to Bar Dojo. We'd heard about it and looked at the menu online, but since we usually dine with our children we didn't think the creative menu would be a big hit with them. So this visit was sans children. We had reservations and were seated quickly even though the place was packed. I ordered a bottle off the wine list (which was fairly pricey). I thought I was getting the most inexpensive bottle on the list but the server must have misheard me. My $23 dollar bottle of wine ended up costing me $39 when the check arrived. That aside, the food was delicious and the menu was definitely eclectic.
We chose Bar Dojo for our party of four, girls night out. Upon arrival, the parking lot was completely full. Each of us found street parking and walked a block or two - Not unreasonable. Our reservation made seating smooth, without a wait. We were there for about three hours and the restaurant was packed until about 20-30 minutes before we left. I highly recommend making reservations! The space is small and the tables closer together than I prefer. The food was five-star; beautifully presented, plentiful and had impeccable flavor! The service was good but not anazing. There were a handful of times when our server went long stretches not checking in with us. I don't want over check-ins, but there were definitely a few times we had requests that weren't well tended to. Our server was very pleasant, however. My only real complaint that would make me think twice about dining here again is that the small space with mostly hard surfaces makes for a cacophony of sound. We had a large, particularly loud party seated next to us. They were so loud, my friend actually had to plug one of her ears, just to hear at our table! We felt like we had to yell, to maintain any audible conversation between us. It wasn't as defining once that group left, but it was still quite loud. Maybe if they brought in some soft accents to absorb some of the sound, it would help.
We waited over 10 minutes after being seated until a waiter even acknowledged us. The food was so delicious, and the service got better, but I had to get up and asked to be served.
Bar Dojo is always excellent and never disappoints. The staff is super friendly and the Asian fusion food is always outstanding! It is our favorite restaurant.
Sushi Wednesday so good with avocado rice!
I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The food has all been delicious -I've tried about half of the menu items. The staff there are all very friendly and provide excellent service. Sometimes there is live music and it has been quite enjoyable.
Pork belly nachos are a favorite on the happy hour menu!!!
We have been to bar dojo several times and always left satisfied until this time. Food was good although it seems to have slipped just a bit. Biggest issue was wait staff. Poor service and a waiter how didn,t seem to care one way or another. When I asked for recommendations, he replied "Can't help you dude" what???? Also didn't bus the table properly and left us sitting there with no food, drinks or anything for 15 min before reappearing to offer desert menu. Poor service in a relatively expensive place is not good
Little loud bar was full and one table had six ladies celebrating
Occasion. Food was good but have
Had better before! Service drinks
Great as always!!!!
The Ahi taco's are the best I have ever had! You have to try them if you haven't already. Friendly place to meet for a meal with amazing food! Pork Belly Nacho's are my go to! Great happy hour prices!
We were hoping Enrique was going to be playing, but he wasn't. Nevertheless, we had delicious food at a decent price. We were seated near the door and got some cold air now and then, but otherwise a lovely meal. I recommend the red dragon roll sushi!
Creative cocktails and delicious food! Fun place with a group or for a date. Live music some nights which is a bit loud for my taste because it’s a small space, but even then, the food is worth it!
Booked wisely for New Year's Eve and was not disappointed. Service was on point, as always, and so were the menu options. Inventive flavor combinations. Steak cooked perfectly!
I love bar dojo's the food is always excellent except for New Year's Eve 2018 the lamb and risotto was very tasty except when it came out to me, it was just barely warm very disappointed, The tartare somewhat tasty, but don't has good has last year, the scallion pancake was on the tough side and barely warm again. They did take off 10% of the bill which is the tax that was very nice of them I didn't want that, just wanted the kitchen to know the food was coming out just a little warm..
Thank You for a wonderful New Years Eve Dinner. Did not disappoint me. But I knew you wouldn’t. I will be back.
My friend and I had a great New Years dinner. This is an annual way we celebrate the new year. This was our second time coming for dinner, we were not disappointed.
This has been one of our favorite go to spots for years so we were extremely disappointed when we checked in for our recent reservation. Despite open tables in the main dining area, we were told our reserved seating was in the narrow hallway-like space just inside the front entrance which has zero ambiance. In addition to feeling like a designated overflow space, it’s not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience due to the proximity of adjacent diners and their conversations.
