   Food was good, our pizza was cooked to perfection, however the toppings just didn’t go well together in my opinion. There are however many apps and pizzas to try so I can’t hold it against them for one dinner. The restaurant was very crowded and seemed claustrophobic to me which makes the whole dining experience a little stressful. This is true unless of course you have a big enough party to warrant a large table. Also the restaurant was too bright for a Friday night dining spot. My date doesn’t need to see how ugly I am :p The drinks here are amazing and well prepared by an excellent bartender. A bartender whose not only friendly and fun but an excellent mixologist with a killer style sense. Honestly if you can get here early enough or at a time where the bar isn’t already full this has to be one of the best bars in seattle from a strictly food/drink sense. Regardless the thing that sets this restaurant apart is the service. Everyone who works the front of the house at Bar Cotto is amazing. They are fast, friendly, accurate, and so welcoming. Everyone is also just so happy that they really make this restaurant a joy to visit. Really can’t say enough about how great they are and how friendly they are! One last note this restaurant, when crowded, is loud so it’s not a good choice for people hard of hearing or quiet talkers. Will be back soon to try other dishes!

   Ambience was great! Noise level was just the right level to have a conversation easily while maintaining a lively atmosphere. Our server was great! She was extremely friendly and continuously checked in our us throughout the evening. The roasted broccoli was an unexpected hit, and the cocktails tasted delicious. TIP: The happy hour is fantastic, but you must be seated at the bar.

   We had a great experience at Bar Cotto! All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating — not to mention great food! Will definitely come again!

    Pizza is what Bar Cotto is known for, but some of the sides were to die for! I particularly liked the squash. The pizza are large and good for sharing.
