We were seated at one of the best tables on the veranda outside the bar on the walkway towards the pool. Beautiful evening, light breeze, palm trees swaying, great service, excellent food. The wine was perfectly chilled unlike the hot wine you typically get at SoFla restaurants. It was a memorable experience.
There is no one to greet you when you walk in, lots of loud music and it seems like a hangout spot. I did not eat here we walked in and looked around for help but couldn’t find anyone. The bar was jammed packed just really ridiculous.
The food and drink at Bar Collins was great. Loved the ambiance as well. The only negative would be the prices and our server could have been a bit more friendly.
Food was great and very nice ambiance!
Wife and I both had the filet. Steak was improperly cooked and sent back two times. Still ended up with a improperly cooked steak that was $45 each plus tax and automatic gratuity. $115 for a bad meal.
Very poor food. Our pizza was 25 dollars and covered in mayonnaise or some such sauce. Drinks overpriced as was everything. Disappointing first meal in Miami.
Great place to meet at the end of the day. Good selection of wines. The Peruvian Satay was excellent, good margherita pizza.
Slow service. Very unorganized
Great location in Miami. Nice outdoor ambiance and great food. It was a bit confusing in the beginning since there was no host/hostess to seat us and no guidance to either sit or wait - and no one to stop and tel us. Other than that, no real complaints.
Even though we had a reservation and were seated inside the dining room (not the lobby), the wait staff had me pre-pay (i.e., they ran my credit card) before taking an order; they ignored the specific requests (no this/that on the sandwich); and they tried their best to hurry us out of the restaurant after we slowed down our eating by continually stopping at the table to pick up things/arrange it (salt, pepper, plates, drinks, etc.). It felt like we were being rushed.
The Miami Spice Menu they have is amazing!!!!!
They serve a lot of food. We went for lunch it was $24/person..
Food was delicious and their servers were excellent!
We had the empanadas, churrasco anticucho, classic lobster roll, grilled churrasco, nutella molten cake & a strawberry cake!
Went later in the evening and sat at the hightop table. DJ was spinning, which created a great energy to start the night. Service was great. Food was good.
A little under staffed so service was a little slow. Good food though.
Good ambience, several options for vegetarians in appetizers but hardly any in entree besides pizza.
Place is amazing and the staff bent over backwards to please our children.
Nice dinner with a very good quality and service.
My meal was forgotten and therefore arrived very late...so my children were completely done eating.
Server did not ask if I wanted to box up my children’s pizza and took away several pieces that we planned to save.
While the server then attempted to correct the issue I think it was unacceptable given the price point and mandatory 20% tip.
We went to Bar Collins during a Bachelorette trip. We were excited to be eating at Loews for dinner and drinks one night. Upon arriving at our reservation time, no table was ready for our party, nor could any one confirm that we had a reservation. We were finally seated and what seemed to be a make shift conference table that was set up in their dining area for 8 people. Once a table was finally set up, it took almost 20 minutes for water to arrive. We all ordered drinks and food which were all delicious, but the overall lack of service was surprising.
Amazing service. And special birthday surprises. Fantastic food.
The Lowe’s redeemed our weekend dining experience with our dinner at Bar Collins. The food was delicious and plentiful, the ambience was lively and the “to share” menu entrees were a great value for family style dining. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. She acknowledged our “birthday girls” with complimentary desserts. Even the DJ did a great job taking the pulse of the room and playing music that helped make the evening.
Ok. We’re staying at Loews Hotel. Went for quick light dinner. Service was polite but slow. Food was just ok. Wife had romaine lettuce salad which was one head, split in two with some balsamic dressing for $17.00!!!
In future, I would have a drink there but not eat there. I’ll take the truck if I brought someone on the lettuce what day when was it
Good place for a post conference break.
It was a nice meal and the server we ended up with was nice and friendly. I had pre booked for a 21st birthday and when we arrived the original server wasn’t very understanding and shafted us to a high bar table because he had no space - no special arrangements were considered for the birthday which was disappointing.
A group of six enjoyed dinner for our first night staying in the Loews Hotel. The service was incredibly attentive to our demanding group. The three course meal is a great value. The crowd was lively and then after dinner we enjoyed listening to live music from an awesome band. Bar Collins is great for a group dinner, probably not for a romantic/quiet evening.
Awesome service great drinks and food. Loved it will be returning soon. Staff took real care to my needs and what I was looking for
Absolutely LOVED the service! Our server, I can't remember his name, was the best. The food is amazing! We had the Churrasco, the Chorizo Calzone, and Churrasco Anticucho (appetizer), definitely worth it!
Lindo espacio para pasar el rato y comer algo. Muy dinamico...
Decent food, nothing too special but we were at the pool all day and needed a very casual place to eat. Sat outside which was nice. Lights outside are a weird yellow and will take all color out of the food....it is weird eating raw tuna that looks gray.....turn phone light on and it is red.
