                                                  Some of the worst food we’ve ever eaten. Fish and chips were disgusting the rest of the food was mediocre at best the seafood delux was the tiniest portion nothing like the pictures with only 2 microscopic pieces of calamari. Felt like a huge rip off. We were extremely disappointed. Probably our worst restaurant experience and we dine out all the time. I feel bad cause I really wanted to give matty matheson a solid shot as I like his personality. We tried his Italian spot in fort Erie years ago it was mediocre. Love his burgers at Mattys patty’s though. If the food was greatly improved and the menu overhauled as well as far bigger portions I think this place would stand a chance.

                                                  Came to Bar Clams for my birthday and it made my day so special! The staff made an amazing experience and it was the best service I’ve ever had. Delicious food with a laid back vibe.

                                                  Iceberg salad - delish. Trout - perfect. Order a side of fries to dip in that sauce. Banana cookie thing - devine. Service was outstanding. 80's pop/rock coming out of the speakers was a great vibe. Go eat here.

                                                  This was our second time visiting and we do love the place, food is always delicious but the service this time was horrible. We ordered some oysters and a drink when we got there then were basically ignored for a very long time...drinks and oysters done and no one coming to ask if we wanted to order anything else. I had to wave down a waitress so we could get some service, it was a little disappointing.

                                                  Great spot with fresh seafood and a relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and the cocktails were on point. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

                                                  Good food and delicious cocktails but not particularly generous. There's something about the layout that made the music and other patrons sound super loud but I couldn't hear my own friends who were next to me. Wanted to love it but ended up going to another bar to finish the meal/night.

                                                  We are such MM fans and were so excited to try this spot! I booked the reservation in celebration of my partner’s new job. I had requested champagne be brought upon arrival (something we do for almost all open table bookings as a little surprise to the other). It was not done, unfortunately so we just ordered a glass with the server when he eventually came by. We had to ask to order, request more water etc. Service of the food was fast but general service was very, very slow. And also quite odd. We didn’t find it overly warm and welcoming like most of MM’s spots. We’d been told by friends that it was just “OK” and we have to agree. Bummer!

                                                  Very few places in Toronto know how to combine amazing food with a casual atmosphere. Bar Clams is the place to go if you’re looking for incredible seafood in a cozy, east coast inspired diner. Staff are friendly, incredibly attentive, and provide great recommendations and beverage pairings. Highlights (some change by season) Dirty Martini Oysters Scallops with Bacon White asparagus Banana Split (I will be having dreams about this). Could not recommend a better place for seafood and fun atmosphere!

                                                  Their original menu was incredible. We recently visited again months later and missed old menu items, like the crab dip and mixed seafood cocktail. Our first experience was 5 stars, while our most recent dining experience left us wanting more.
