Great experience. Amazing food. Our server, Brailey (sp?) was wonderful and has a great interest in wine! Go for that wine education, girl! Highly recommend!

Our intimate group of friends had a memorable evening at Bar Chouette in conjunction with their 2nd birthday bash. The warm, lively vibe came alive thanks to Kinfolk Deejays. We enjoyed standout small and large plates - all delicious and beautifully presented - paired with creative, spot-on cocktails. Bar Chouette continues to impress with its welcoming atmosphere, great service, and top-notch food and drink. Cannot wait to return, and visit Chef Duncan Ly again!

I should begin by mentioning that Breila is the cutest human I have ever met. Professional, charming, attentive and personable. I have been contemplating if I have ever had a pasta I enjoyed more than the squid ink spaghetti—and I can’t think of one. Seafood pasta is so easily poorly timed and components of it often are overcooked, this was f*cking perfect. I have now found my emotional support pasta and it’s only five minutes from my home. I started with the beef tartare: the black vinegar flavour was impeccable. Tapioca crisps on the side were light and allowed the flavour of the meat to shine. My favourite new restaurant. Happy second birthday!

Five stars all around. Every dish was amazing, with a great flavour profile. Highly recommend the sweet buns, shrimp salad, oyster mushrooms and any of the pasta. But you couldn’t go wrong with any of the dishes!

The portion of appetizers are exceptional large so it was a suprise. Because we were sitting at the bar, the chief checked on us occasionally and it was nice touch.

Friendly and welcoming service and exceptionally executed food. Everything was great, but the squid, prawn katsu sando, and scallops were amazing.
