Our waitress was excellent!
Had dinner here with my son the other night before the opera. So convenient to Lincoln Center. We had a wonderful waiter & an outstanding meal. The roast chicken was absolutely delicious!!! The by the glass rose wine special was fantastic. Daniel’s restaurants never fail to deliver!!
A very nice experience. The welcome, the beautiful space, the cocktails, the Saucisson Sec, the Chicken Paillard, the Boudin Blanc, the wine, the desserts . . . ALL WONDERFUL.
The two disappointing dishes amongst many brilliant offerings. The escargots tasted of overwhelming raw garlic and the tuna crudo was very underseasoned.
Chef Boulud has a wonderful establishment here. Thank you.
We had a great anniversary dinner at Bar Boulud. The food was fabulous and they brought a beautiful dessert on a plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! and that was yummy too!
$6.00 for a Coke maybe expected at a fine dining restaurant but another $6.00 for a refill is disrespectful and abusive.
Fabulous food. Lunch is great value.
A comfortable place to have a lengthy meal. The service was efficient, friendly and pleasant. Our waiter thought to bring a plate cover while one of our party stepped away from the table. We tried all three starters and main courses and all were good. The chocolate brownie for dessert was superb.
Cassoulet was a little subpar, beans a little hard. Everything else was great.
Always a great choice before the opera, Bar Boulud doesn't disappoint. The prix fixe has gotten a bit pricey but food and wine were both delicious!
Loved Bar Boulud, everyone should experience as many times as time all.
Had a lovely lunch. Food was wonderful.
We had a wonderful lunch; great food, excellent service and an overall lovely experience.
The wine pairing was also "right on". We look forward to our next visit.
Excellent service and food impeccably prepared and presented. Excellent soup and wine. Mussels were the plumpest I have ever seen but not entirely fresh as mussels must be for flavor.
Excellent attentive service all staff were really nice. Prix fixe dinner was delicious. Really a great pre-opera dinner!
Our go to restaurant near Lincoln Center. It never disappoints!
Fancy bar setting. WONDERFUL wait staff. Very knowledgeable. Food was outstanding. It's pricey but well worth it. Had a 5 pm reservation with an 8 pm curtain at Lincoln Center. Staff did NOT hurry us out to turn over the table. Bon Appetit!
Having recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday dinner here about three weeks ago, I returned with a friend to celebrate ours together. Again, I was not disappointed! From the greeting upon arrival, to the impeccable service and delicious food presented with artistry... you will not be disappointed either. Can’t wait to return!
One of my favorite restaurants on the UWS. Every restaurant has an off night, and unfortunately they had a really really off day with two of the four dishes at my table that night. Disappointing, but it won't prevent me from coming back.
Perfect as always!
Soup and cassoulet not warm enough. Waiter forgot our courgettes (eventually brought them and didn’t charge). He was also very late on getting our wine order. Hipster sommelier not very helpful—critiqued our Chateau Neuf de Pape after pouring it. Saying he’s not a fan of “CDP” but the one we ordered was like a precocious teenager—wise beyond its years. Actually, it wasn’t very good. Pretty fruity. Would have preferred his take on a wine that sommelier would recommend vs one that he wasn’t crazy about.
We used to love going to Bat Bolud and hope that we just hit it on an off-night.
Becoming stale. Menu does not change. Wine list limited for by the glass and at reasonable price points.
Bar Boulud is one of our weekly standbys for pre-theater dinner at Lincoln Center. The food is tasty and inventive with an excellent french accent.
Delicious food, great service and a lively atmosphere. Great!
It’s become a good tradition to have a pre-theater dinner with friends at Bar Boulud. This time we had expertly prepared tuna crudo and escargot for appetizers and scallops for main course. Pear sorbet for dessert was such a hit we ordered a second helping! Hemingway cocktail was on the strong side but still delicious. We’ll undoubtedly be back soon.
Absolutely fanatstic food in a beautiful setting. Next time I am in New York I will be back!
Always reliable for delicious food and wines; nicer range of choices.
not as good a value in any category as Cafe Boulud which is always excellent. However Bar Boulud is convenient to David Geffen Hall. Nevertheless, next time we have a symphony date I will look elsewhere, like Shun Lee West.
I had to send my main dish (duck) back as it was inedible. The mussels I had instead were fresh and big but under spiced. French fries were crisp and good, cake excellent. I found it annoying that at least 3 times I was asked whether I was finished eating.
Somewhat noisy, but excellent service and DELICIOUS food.
As always, we had an excellent meal at Bar Boulud. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious and drinks/wine list expansive. We alerted them to my mom’s birthday and they had her dessert served on a personalized plate. We go often to Bar Boulud but we never get tired of dining here. Just love it.
We arrived at the perfect time, just as most people were leaving for a matinee. Brunch was delicious and quite a bargain compared to dinner (prices and portion). I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely going back.
Extremely knowledgeable staff. 2 appetizers, 4 different entrees, 3 desserts and everything was top quality. Would highly recommend. Go before the prices start creeping up!
Greeted by friendly hosts. Service was excellent. Food lovely. Only downside, if it is a downside for some, the noise level is high. It didnt bother us too much. Great location if you are going to the Lincoln center.
I had brunch here on a Saturday before a matinee ballet performance. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service and food were great. I had the French toast and my guest had an omelette and both were delicious and large portions. The atmosphere was very nice and every staff member was kind and courteous. I would definitely come back when in the area again. The restaurant is right across from Lincoln Center.
Fine meal. Only complaint: Wooden seat backs are uncomfortable.
Consistency is becoming a problem. Servers are unenthusiastic. Food quality and taste are declining. Becoming OLD.
the liver patee was ecellent as well as the duck and the coq au vin. The service was very good
Best place to eat an evening meal before a Lincoln Center performance.
The noise was such that we three could not hear each other without shouting.
Andrew and I had the special baked lobster with spinach. The lobster was overcooked, tough and very difficult to eat. In all, the least satisfying meal we have had and we have been doing Bar Boulud practically since it opened.
Our guest's duck entree was great, and the Trousseau wine she chose was really fine.
Still, if this had been our first time here, we would say we would not return because of our entrees. Our share of the price was $300 for a totally substandard meal.
Love the attention to detail at all Bolud restaurants. Wine choices always excellent
