   Booked a reservation. Got a confirmation. Drove to the city on a rainy day. Parked. Walked to the restaurant and found it closed. They are not open for lunch. Why offer reservations for hours and days you are not even open ? So frustrating.

   Fabulous dinner at Bar Bombon! Hard to believe all the delicious food is vegan! We enjoyed the nachos, Caesar salad, guacamole, and meatballs. All were so good! Also had the margarita and the two desserts offered. Delish!! Will definitely be returning here!!

   Small place, small plates, small menu, very good all vegan food. The menu is diverse enough for anyone to find something to eat. The atmosphere is very cordial to small parties. Liked it! You probably would too.

   Love Bar Bombón! Delicious vegan tapas, excellent service, and fun yet relaxed atmosphere a block from Rittenhouse Square. The empanadas, meatballs, plantains, and tres leches cake are our go-to favorites. One of our favorite restaurants in Philly.

    Nice interior that can be upgraded a little bit to depict the heritage. The coffee was not fresh. Food tasted good but Very small portion sizes for the money charged. Will be hard to go back or recommend to my friends.

    Really awesome place! I love that they still have the outdoor seating on 18th Street. Food is delicious, and you can't even tell that it is completely plant-based. Definitely get a slice of tres leches if you have room :) Brunch wasn't too expensive at all, either - we shared an app, each got a drink, an entree, and dessert, and spent around $50 each.

    We sat outside on a glorious October day --the food, which was served incredibly fast, was really marvelous! Fresh, creative, generous --this is vegan food that anyone would enjoy. The atmosphere was equally delicious -- lots of beautiful, stylish, sympathetic souls. In short -- we loved it and will certainly return! Bar Bombon makes ethical eating a true joy!!

    We've dined here at least 6 times. Sadly, the service was poor during the last two visits. We thought maybe it was an off-night the last time; however, we experienced the same issues on our most recent visit. The staff was all friendly, but we waited 10+ minutes to be greeted and then another 15 for drinks. Food also took a while but not too bad. We had nachos, empanadas, and two different types of tacos. Asked for another round of drinks and it took another 15+ minutes. Asked for hot sauce and never received it. Our server was apologetic, but not attentive or knowledgeable. Sad to see an otherwise awesome restaurant miss the mark on service. I realize that we are in very challenging times with staffing, of course, and I'm sure everyone is doing their best.

    Sadly, Bar Bombon has changed dramatically from the first two times I’ve gone there a couple of years back. I’m wondering if they changed chefs because the food tasted incredible two years ago and recently, the taste and presentation dramatically declined. The service was very poor at the bar after the initial bartender left. He was the only kind and attentive person asking us what we would like. We were completely unattended to after that point unless we directly asked for something. Our food was overpriced and one appetizer came without the sauce. I recommend going to El Vez for the best Mexican in town instead!

    LOVED the food here! I am not a vegetarian, however, all of the dishes we had were outstanding and delicious and are just as good as meat and fish dishes. Highly recommend!

    My wife and I eat here frequently. But I need to let you know “since you asked” that we both ordered the double chipotle burger and my bun was stale. Since I usually finish everything on my plat my wife asked why I didn’t and I told her. She tried the bun and confirmed that her bun was fresh. While we will be back I will not order the burger.

    I know times are tough for restaurants however service was terrible. Not friendly and never checked on us. Slapped our bill on table without a word. Had to ask hostess for check and water twice.

    Delicious (and timely) plant-based food! Drinks pack a punch! Ambiance is superb! The only reason why I give it less than 5 stars is because of the inattentiveness of our waiter (he was MIA most of the time, we had to ask for water refills and 2nd round of food/drinks repeatedly).

    We were seated indoors for a birthday dinner and the dining area was extremely loud and uncomfortable. My son and I were sitting on the bench/ banquet and the air conditioning was blasting on us. I could not wait to leave from the moment I sat down and this really took away from the food experience. That was my fist and last trip to Bar Bombon. The waitress was kind but when I asked about turning down the air I was told it was not possible. I have a headache today from this awful experience.
