I seem to recall a more intimate atmosphere/decor the last time I had dinner here. Service was excellent but the layout and setting seems more like a community hall than a restaurant. I would more likely recommend the downtown Montreal location for someone looking for a quieter and more subdued atmosphere.

I want to love this restaurant. I've been going since I was a kid. The ribs and chicken are always fantastic, as are the french fries. It is the same menu I ordered from when I was 10 years old. The problem is with the atmosphere. I love the old school decor, however, I would love for the lights to be dimmed, for there to be some great music playing, and for the wait staff to be a little more enthusiastic about what they are offering. I was just there on Monday night and the bright lights and dead silence of the restaurant was quite a turn off.
