It would be better if the menu for Saturday's lunch won't be only the Brunch menu.
Awesome truly bottomless mimosas and bloodys! Delicious brunch food. Great views. Worth the price 10/10
I wish the food came out hotter. It was lukewarm. I had the chicken and waffles. There also need to be more variety pertaining to the meat options (like turkey bacon or sausage).
The hours of Breakfast and Brunch need to be fixed on their website. It states that Breakfast is served Daily 6:30-11am and Brunch is served 10am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
When we arrived at 9:15 on Sunday Morning we expected a Breakfast menu. We were told it was Brunch and handed a Brunch Menu. When I asked about the times stated on the website, the server didn't know. We had wanted an item on the breakfast menu and the Chef accommodated, but this was only after I asked the server repeatedly to ask.
Food was delicious.
Would not go back. Several items were not available that we ordered. . The acoustics are terrible.
Food was mediocre at best.
I felt like food was diner quality with Gold Coast prices.
Went to enjoy a brunch. What a disappointment! Beginning with seating us in a uncomfortable spot - while many good spots were available, absentee waiter, waiting 50 minutes for an omelet and waffles, and finally having to hunt down our waiter to get our bill, we will never return. Chicago has numerous fabulous places for brunch. A complete waste of money.
I would recommend, but more for late night drinks and appetizers.
It was a good place to eat but took forever to seat us when it wasn’t that crowded. We ordered bottomless mimosas and the guy never came around asking if we want more we always had to flag him down
I was in town on business during Chicago Restaurant Week.
A friend invited me to brunch at Baptiste & Bottle, it was terrific! I had the Mac and Cheese so magnificent!
It was located on the 20th floor of the Conrad Hotel...great view and great service.
I will definitely tell everyone about this cool Restaurant.
The view is great and the food was really good. Overall, would recommend for a nice chill evening out.
I attended with my daughter (5) and 2 friends to experience the restaurant week menu. It was wonderful! Amazing views, wonderful food and lovely servers. We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner...
Yummy brunch options, loved the bloody mary and mimosa bar. Great views and friendly staff!
I reserved it as my husbands birthday, but they didn’t acknowledge it. Also, we got restaurant week menu and it was stingy. It was all delicious but they skimped. The berries and yogurt was one strawberry cut into 3. My chicken and waffles was half a waffle with a tiny piece of chicken. The eggs Benedict was a normal size. They also didn’t time things well. They should have let us enjoy our pastries and yogurt before bringing the entrees. Overall, they just needed better management.
I would recommend Baptiste and Bottle for after work drinks. The food tasted like standard hotel food, nothing special. I did enjoy the view and the design of the space. They fit a lot of sitting into the area while still allowing enough room for each party. Service left more to be desired. Our waiter took a very long time to get to us for water and our initial order and never really checked in throughout our dining experience. The one time he was very attentive was at the end when he asked if he could pick up the receipts because his shift was ending. Also, all the other wait staff that stopped by our table to drop items off, never said a word to to us. No hello, no here's XYZ food, no can I get you anything, not even eye contact. But overall, an average leaning toward below average experience.
After reading reviews, I was slightly hesitant, but figured for restaurant week in Chicago it was definitely worth it because the price was right! My friend and I were stunned at the view. We were greeted by very pleasant hosts, our server was very helpful and polite, and they sat us at a table right next to the window with a beautiful view. I don't know names of staff that we had unfortunately, but everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and nice! For RW we got a bloody mary with our brunch, and the bloody bar did include classics such as carrot, pickles, celery, cheese etc. so I would say it was a good bloody bar! Chicken and waffles was stellar and so was the eggs benedict. Will definitely be back!
The view is stunning and the ambiance is quiet, light and airy. The brunch cocktail options are really great and stand out from any other brunch place when it pertains to variety and the build your own blood/mimosa bar.
I went with the chicken and waffles via server recommendation from the restaurant week menu. He claims they were the best thing the restaurant had to offer. They were good but I was not really that impressed. The waffle was big and fluffy, but very soft, almost too soft, but it had a nice flavor. The chicken breading was good and tasty. It wasn't the best chicken and waffles but it was a decent breakfast meal. My friend had the avocado toast and enjoyed it. I am willing to bet there are better menu items worth a second try. Our service was pretty poor - to no fault of the chef, so check it out for the food and ambiance, the chef doesn't deserve to suffer on the account of a poor quality service experience.
Overall, I think its worth checking it out for the ambiance and view and a decent meal.
Service is not very warming or attentive expected a lot more.
We had a wonderful time and the food was amazing! Bottomless mimosa bar is definitely the way to go for brunch! It was fun with all of the different juices. I had the chicken and waffle, the others in the party had the breakfast burrito and the mac and cheese. Both enjoyed their meals as well.
Really nice atmosphere! I went on a date and we got a perfect window seat. The food was very good and we got a good deal on the Chicago Restaurant Week menu
Great ambience but terrible food. The ricotta pasta dish was undercooked and salad was well below average. Wound not go back.
No ambience whatsoever used to be office space still feels like it
Now it’s a Conrad hotel but I thinks it’s a Sad hotel no one cares who works on the property
Awful service waiter had no personality he was basically a rude dud
Food very average at best
Smoke filled restaurant
Had to stand up to see view
Waste of time
Lots of competition in restaurants in Chicago they obviously don’t care about anything
Great birthday celebration spot! Wait staff was excellent and food was delicious.
Our waitress was the only downside to the experience wasn’t attentive. But I have been there before and the service was amazing
It took a while for us to get seated even though we had a reservation and it wasn’t t busy at all. Once the four of us were seated it took another 10mins for a server to come over. Also the server, younes, wasn’t great at all. Many times we went without water or champagne to drink. Would try it again and if the service is that bad I will probably not come back. Other than service issues, EVERYTHING else was fantastic.
I like taking out-of-towners here for brunch - you get a great view and the atmosphere feels up-scale and special without being too fancy. Some of the dishes are better than others but overall the food is good for brunch! Highly recommend the bottomless deal.
We stopped at Baptiste & Bottle twice over two days, once for drink at the bar and the other time for brunch. The drinks were unique and delicious. The bartenders were friendly and made you feel welcomed. Brunch was good however, while the service was fast our waitress wasn't attentive. Never introduced herself, just walked right up to our table and asked for our order. The only time she came back to the table was to bring the check, and even then she didn't offer us more coffee or water. We wanted to order brunch drinks (Mimosas and Bloody Marys), but since she brought the check we figured it was time go.
I would go back for drinks, but not sure I will be back for a meal.
Wonderful dining experience. The tequila drink (La Mentira) and was fantastic! I had the scallops. They were some of the best cooked scallops I’ve had in a very, very long time. My mom had the pork dish, which I tried and was delicious as well. Our service was fantastic. Would highly recommend coming here.
Wasn’t sure what to expect. Restaurant had an interesting name, great service, and lovey view of Michigan Ave. It’s on the 20th floor of the Conrad and ultimately was just a nice restaurant in hotel.
Great bar program. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff
Wonderful NYE dinner. As always food and drinks were amazing. B&B is my family’s favorite occasion place. Ask for Connor
We visited the restaurant on New Years Eve and ordered from the New Years Eve Prix Fixe menu. The Cauliflower Soup was amazing. So light and airy. The Venison was cooked to perfection. A very enjoyable evening.
New Year’s Eve disappointment. Prefix meal tried
too hard to be something special. Too many flavors competing with each other in each course. The waiter did not
recommend getting the broccoli steak which was ordered and ended up
being the best dish we had. Scallops were rubbery texture (previously frozen?) Chef needs to refine menu - expected better for New Year’s Eve.
It may have just been an off day for the restaurant, but I apologized to my friends for bringing them there. The setting itself is very nice; good views of the city from the 20th floor and comfortable, reasonably spaced seating. Our biggest problem came on the service front. There were only 2 other groups in the restaurant when we were there yet the waitress took a very long time to see us and rarely checked in; she was also unaware of the menu (did not know if they had any specials, did not know much about the dishes we order). Our drinks were also very delayed and were later informed that was because the bartender had left to pick up produce for the day. Additionally, our food came out in odd timing (one person's entire meal came out before others received soup) and missed the mark in general (quality/taste was not on point and they did not make requested substitutions).
Horrible place. Doesn’t matter if you have a reservation, you’ll still have to wait at least 20-30 more minutes. Hostess m.i.a, waitstaff rude, and by the time we were seated, they told us they were no longer serving breakfast. just the worst experience. So we left. Would not recommend
Admittedly, the team had a bad day with too few staff. But great job by the shift supervisor...she took care of us.
The food was phenomenal. The service was so-so. The waitress seemed less than thrilled to be there. The lights were also a bit bright for the lovely space.
Great dinner in a contemporary setting.
Baptiste and Bottle we enjoyed but the service was very slow it was like they needed more wait staff.
Good food and views but indifferent service
The food was amazing, but the only think we did not like is that we had to wait about 45 mins for our food. We went on Christmas Day, and we later found out that half of the kitchen staff called off from work. What a bummer. I was offer free drinks on my next visit, that was cool.
