   I went a couple of nights ago to celebrate a bachelorette. Overall everything was fantastic— the food, service, ambience etc. Unfortunately, the waitress told us that only 2% of the 20% service charge went to her. We paid around $800 dollars for dinner, so that meant she only got around $16 for the entire night. I think it’s tragic thinking that she worked very hard the whole night and we had to tip even more on top of the 20% service charge at what is known to be a high end restaurant. I hope their staff get paid well enough.

   Everything was great except for the gentleman who was at the entrance. He told me my flats are too casual and I should change. He suggested heels. Since when heels are mandatory and since when there is a fashion police at the entrance? The comments were not polite at all. My flats were not flip flops or anything beach related, he was just considering it too casual. And by the way I saw a girl wearing sneakers inside, so what is this all about?

   Very disappointed with the whole experience Waiters who pressure you into ordering mains, promoting lady’s night on instagram, then awkwardly explaining that it just means that ladies are coming, promoting special menus on instagram then when asked waiter tells that it’s for influencers only not for regular people When we called manager our waiter rushed to charge our cards before doing so, manager was very inefficient Over all very disappointing customer service

    The menu is completely different from the old baoili and everything is portioned for someone not hungry. Prices are insane and the waiters push you to keep ordering and drinking. I’ll never go back I miss the old baoili this place went completely downhill.

    Excellent experience, delicious but pricey food is worth it for a solid night out. This place oozes with a chic, tropical ambiance. The beef was 🔥! Would definitely come back for the right occasion, or if you have $$$ to blow visit on the reg.

    They asked us to wait by the bar and did not even have the courtesy to get a table for us .. we were at the bar for 2 hours with no one even coming to get us for a table. What is the point of reservation when you cant honor and even have the decency of giving us a table

    This is one of those places that just tries to take itself too seriously but fails at the basics. The prices are bad when you consider there are cheaper Michelin starred restaurants in the area, the place looks nice but service is generally pretty terrible. Server never came around to get additional drink orders and once we were done it was literally 25 minutes of waiting for a server to come to the table so we could request the check. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

    We ate as a family at Baoli last night. First and foremost, Christian is the best waiter we’ve ever had. He was very attentive and recommended the best plates. It was our first time and honestly without his service, I don’t think we would have enjoyed Baoli as much as we did. The ambiance and vibes are what really make this place. Great for a girls night or dinner amongst friends, saw a few bachelorettes. We also came to celebrate both my mother’s and I’s birthday and we asked for a nice table and they delivered. We sat right in front of the DJ inside. There is an outdoor section but it was pretty humid, still stunning. In terms of food, I must say it was good, but not very good/great. The best plates were the crispy shrimp, spicy beef and the pork belly appetizer. The sushi was alright, we’ve had better but still edible. Drinks were 10/10. All in all, I would recommend to come when you want a nice place to celebrate an occasion or girls night. The DJ was really good and you can dance!

    I don’t write reviews often but this place was a big let down. I was looking for an upscale yet lively energy feel for my fiancés birthday. Instead the vibe was absent, and we were sat in table / chair combos that were literally impossible for a girl to sit comfortably at. The table height was the same height as the chair.. we literally watched as folks were seated, fought with how to make it work, and eventually moved within a few mins of sitting down bc they couldn’t get comfortable. The people were nice / friendly but the ambience was not at all as I’d expected from the pictures, and the food was mediocre at best. I think most of the reviews are from tourists. As a Miami local, I def wouldn’t recommend. Win some, lose some… we lost this time.

    Terrible experience - told waiter it was a corporate meal and we had a budget to maintain - waiter placed order for the most expensive items on the menu. The seafood tower was mediocre - for how much it cost. The sushi platter was terrible. Then after spending so much money the waiter asked us to leave and we hadn’ finished with our desert. The manager was brought out and he kept avoiding our table because didn’t want to rectify the situation of how rude and mismanaged our table was. Had to ask for silverware over 3 times along with dressings for our food. Music was extremely loud - drinks took forever to get - food was mediocre . For the amount we spent it was a terrible experience. You couldn’t pay me to go back, ever.

    Lovely ambience, very good food (although not absolutely mind blowing to be honest), service was straight up excellent. I really appreciated the fact, that it wasn’t excessively noisy - music was rather quiet, so you had a chance to have a normal conversation. Overall a great experience, would go again. Big shout out to Valentino, bruv’s really dedicated to making you feel very taken care of.

    Worst experience ever!!! Don’t go!!!! We waited more than an hour for our table even though we had our reservation.! First we were sent to the bar, while we were at the bar a rude waiter came and take the chair where I was seated, he didn’t care and left me standing again. Later they managed to get a table for us, and we felt we were seated at a garage. Then all the food came at the same time, terrible portions, the branzino was cold. Food was terrible!!!! Service was terrible! ALL IN BAOLI is terrible. Manager sent us some “free” cocktails where later on they were charged for around $30 dlls each and at the end they didn’t take them off the bill. We live in miami, been to so many restaurants and by far this was the worst of them all.

    Great food and overall experience. They have a DJ and the music was good and lively. Tables inside a little louder compared to outside, but we didn’t get a choice of where to sit. We did prefer the inside seating where we were for the music and entertainment.
