   This was a super fun place to have a dim sum dinner with friends! The portions were a little small for the price, but overall the experience was amazing. Our sever was fantastic and really made the experience even better. My biggest complaint is that the "soup" dumplings did not have nearly enough soup in them. I wouldn't even have called them soup dumplings. The filling was delicious, don't get me wrong, but they were not soup dumplings.

   Second time here because we loved it so much the first time, but not sure I’ll go again. Made a reservation in advance for our party of 6 and upon arrival were led to a high top table. When I asked if we could be seated at one of the empty booths at the back, I was told they were all reserved. I had booked with the intention of this better seating arrangement and explained that, but was still told no, even though nearly all of the booths remained open the entirety of our stay. This waiter continued to be aloof and rude throughout the service and his random absences lengthened our meal considerably. The food was great, at least.

   Really cute vibe and overall decor. Most of our food was good and good cocktails - highly recommend the Mongolian beef fried rice. Skip the soup dumplings - our order were dried out no soup, filling was packed in there.

    Very cool atmosphere. Thankfully they had more formal dinner tables upstairs. Servers present like they are attentive, but not really. Struggling the entire time to make room for dishes, they just set the dish down and walk away. A few dishes came out dirty asked for replacents and they never came back. As far as the food goes, some unique dishes but overall sub par asian fusion. Came away with overpriced Pei Wei fibes.

    Great experience! Our table wasn’t ready so they bought us a round of drinks while we waited. Great service at every level - hostess, bartender, manager and server. DJ in the dining room made it loud but elevated the experience. I will definitely recommend and return.

    Overall, BaoBrewhouse was a good experience. A couple of glitches. We specifically made reservations for the Tea Room because it was advertised as quieter than the main floor. It was not and the explanation was that they have DJs on certain nights. Kind of disappointing. I like having unshouted conversations with my dining companions. As for food, the dumplings and short rib noodles were delicious and well worth the visit. Unfortunately, the octopus, while having good flavors, was tough and rubbery and pretty much ruined my enjoyment of the dish. Fix those couple items and it would have been 5 stars. The service, on the other hand, was fantastic, accommodating, and friendly. Noelle was taking care of us and I felt very welcomed and treated like a valuable customer. High marks for Noelle.

    The food really depended on what you ordered. The snapper and spicy duck soup were really good. The beef fried rice and the soup dumplings were not good. The dumplings undercooked. I would probably come again to try other dishes since the good ones were really good.

    Stopped by Bao after a comedy show in Denver for a late dinner. Got a reservation (highly recommended, the couple in front of us had a 2+ hour wait without one) up in their Tea Room, which is a more intimate sit-down experience than the casual vibe downstairs. The ambience in the Tea Room was great, but damn was it loud. My wife and I were struggling to hear each other over the music throughout dinner, and I have no idea how a larger party could talk at all. Food was all fantastic, and prices were reasonable for a restaurant of this quality in Downtown Denver. Our server was very friendly if a little awkward, though maybe he just couldn’t hear us over the music 😂 overall definitely would recommend checking this place out!

    Our server was terrific. She provided great suggestions and descriptions of the menu items. She also explained to us that there was a private party that was contributing to the excessive noise level. She asked the DJ to turn it down a bit and it made our experience much better. Food was great - would definitely recommend the small plates over the entries - just more interesting and fun - entries were tasty just too much of a single thing.

    The food was great. The music was WAY too loud. I'm all for some energetic music during dinner. But we couldn't hear the waitress talking to us, she couldn't hear us ordering, and we couldn't talk to anyone at our table more than one person away. This isn't a club. There are no people dancing. I might be showing my age... but there is just no reason to have the music that loud where people are trying to eat dinner! Good for the food! It is delicious. Maybe just go with someone that you don't really like talking to anyway.

    Great food, great cocktails, great service! My first time having dim sum and it was fun and delicious. The acoustics are nice - we were able to have nice conversation even with others sitting nearby. A little pricey, but worth it. I will definitely go again.

    Bao brew house was a fun setting but fell short when it came to delivering on authentic Chinese food. Short rib noodles were lacking in noodles, overdressed, and needed a steak knife. The beautiful red tobiko on the shumai was fishy and not fresh and the fried shumai were compact and chewy, not pillowy like shumai are supposed to be. Bao buns with Peking duck were nice but duck was presented similar to short ribs needing a steak knife to manage. Not a craveable place to return to imo.

    Music was too loud. The only one vibing was the DJ. Halthway through our meal we couldn't have a decent conversation over the music even though we are both in our 20s with good hearing. I got tired shouting at my friend. Food was over priced. Soup dumplings tased fine but ripped apart before you could take a bite (No longer soup dumplings). Portions were small and over priced. Rushed us to leave.

    Second time there the food was great. Service was great. The things we ordered were pretty spicy-we both love spice, but I know not everybody does. I love that there’s always a DJ my only request would be that the vegetable sides came in a smaller size, so two people could enjoy more than one.

    When we went the first time the music was upbeat but mellow and made for a great date night. This time it was like we were in an electronica club and could barely hear each other speak on a Thursday night. I wasn't able to get the crouching tiger drink because of missing ingredients.     Everyone really enjoyed the food. They were out of the only 2 IPAs on the menu, and had nothing comparable. Seems like there should be more choices - “Brewhouse” is in their name, after all. The server did take off a couple beers because of that, so that was nice.

    It was fine but not worth the wait nor the price. The tearoom was so dark that I couldn’t tell what I was eating. The dumplings were too soft. I wasn’t able to pick them up without falling apart. I just don’t get the hype.

    Wonder Asian ambiance, service and excellent menu. Great place to get together with friends as long as you don’t want too much conversation. Music too loud , suited for party but didn’t fit the restaurant style.
