Overall, the food was excellent — we really enjoyed the flavours and the experience. The ambiance was lovely as well. Just two small points of feedback: The dessert service felt a little slower than the rest of the meal. Regarding the Bombe Alaska, it seemed like a step might have been skipped. A friend mentioned that there is usually a flambé moment where rum is set alight and poured over the dessert at the table. We didn’t experience that part — perhaps it’s a change in presentation, or maybe just a one-off. I did notice a nearby table that seemed to have had something similar, so just raising it for discussion. Other than that, everything was wonderful — thank you for a great evening!

Wonderful dining experience - the food was flavoursome and well portioned, wines and sake perfectly matched the cuisine. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We have not seen this standard of genuine hospitality and “on point” cuisine in Melbourne for some time. What a find!

Great ambience - contemporary and warm. Sensational food - Japanese with a French twist. Broad wine list with various price points. While not cheap it is good value. Staff are friendly. Shout out to Larry at the bar - friendly and knowledgeable.

Unbelievable food and the service was stunning. We had a birthday and they gave a free birthday dessert. Very generous of the restaurant.
