   We were very happy to meet our friends in a beautiful restaurant with beautiful food. We sat at a nice corner at the front of the restaurant, which was cosy and suitable for a nice chat. The only problem I found with that spot was that it became very hot, as the rest of the restaurant was nicely air-conditioned (I only became aware of that as I walked to the restrooms). The food was lovely. I found the waitress to be overly attentive, in a manner that I found to be a bit over the top and not genuine. I would prefer a more genuine, down to earth manner. Apart from that, I understand it is a very upmarket place, but the prices were really over the top, in my opinion.

   We had a very enjoyable evening at Bansho with guests. Wonderful service & delicious food. A standout was the spanner crab chawanmushi, superb flavour & texture.

    Went there with my GF and we sat by the counter as all the tables were booked out (Saturday Night). It was actually nice to see the chef preparing the food. We had a very nice Riesling and order the Salmon Tartare, Sunchoke Crunch, the Chawanmushi, the Bansho Sushi platter. We finished with the Bombe Alaska. It was overall a very nice dining experience, and the different dishes were very good to great. I personally think that the Sushi was good but not as amazing as Uosan not far awy. I really loved the Sunchoke Crunch, the Chawanmushi and the Bombe Alaska. Very unique and well done. The atmosphere was nice and casual but a little bit noisy which did not bother me. The service was excellent! I would definitely go again.
