(Lunch Monday-Friday 12:00-3:00pm)
Bann's location in Midtown makes it a convenient space for hosting corporate parties.
Good food. Good price. Cute servers.
Dessert was heavenly
Excellent food, amazing service!
We come all the time
Enjoyed the 5-9 Happy Hour cocktails in the lounge before dinner. Atmosphere was cozy & romantic for perhaps a first date or date night. Asian inspired decor, relatively quiet.
You can order entrees to be cooked in the kitchen or you can cook your meal yourself at your table, which has built in grills. The whole idea is to create an unique dining experience. Prices are moderate, especially for NYC. Our favorites were the wings & braised bbq short ribs!!!! Would definitely recommend.
Service was great! Love their food! It was super hot day and there were many fans everywhere with low AC..
They also have great happy hour menu!!
I wish they would have offered to celebrate the birthday. Food was great though!
Had a wonderful meal of BBQ and short ribs. Highly recommend either. My 16 year old granddaughter loved the restaurant and food, also.
Great Korean restaurant in Midtown. Authentic dishes (I’m Korean, by the way so speak from a position of knowledge). Nicer than other authentic Korean places so very comfortable bringing work team here. Very accommodating service.
Food was great, but their AC was broken and they only had fans going, which was rough for an August evening.
We had lunch reservations here during resturant week. Service was rushed a bit rude and not helpful. Ordered lunch, dessert and coffee. Coffee and dessert came in waves. Coffee first than after coffee was cold dessert arrived 10 minutes later. Now for the good part. The manager took over and was as pleasant as possible resolved our issues. We will be returning as food was great.
Fairly ordinary Korean food. The car is showing it’s age and the restaurants are slightly dirty
It was very nice. It would have been better if happy hour extended to the dining room and not just the bar area.
We went for a pre theater dinner. It was delicious. They didn't rush us through the meal, but we had plenty of time to enjoy all of it. We will go back.
The food was great and came out fairly quickly. I went there for restaurant week and the portions were huge! The waiter was also very knowledgeable about the menu
Broadway show date
Great drinks, great food. Love this place!
The food and service was awesome, will definitely return
Firstly - I'm a little spoiled usually with my restaurants so I tend to expect a certain degree of service/food. I have no standout issues with Bann, it's a nice and basic open Korean restaurant with good food and good service. I did feel a little rushed towards the end. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu, as I would assume those offerings to be the average quality of a meal for the restaurant, a sort of showcase. So, I do understand if a server just wants us to taste and leave considering it's a pre-fixe. However, while my experience with Restaurant Week is limited, the last couple places I did go still asked if I wanted to order coffee, another drink, etc. We were never asked if we wanted drink refills (which, to a server, I would assume is how they make up for any possible regular menu price differences -- which is also debatable just how much that difference is but that's another topic). But otherwise it was a fine experience without any pompousness to it, so I would still recommend to anyone looking for a solid Korean BBQ establishment.
As always the food was wonderful. Have been there many times. The service was not as good as usual AND the air conditioning was not working on a 90 degree plus day. Would not have gone had we known this.
We loved everything about our experience at Bann.
Itr was a little pricey. But we would love to return..
It was very good. The bulgogi was to die for! The ginger lemonade was very good as well. I went during restaurant week for lunch with my friend and I got the glass noodles as my appetizer with beef (which was amazing) as well. Great experience.
The food was amazing. Service could be a bit better.
I came to Bann for NYC Restaurant Week with coworkers. It was my first time trying Korean BBQ and I fully recommend! Staff and food was great. The place is decorated really nicely as well.
The food was fantastic. The mood very quiet and relaxed. The service could have been a bit more attentive but it was a Sunday night.
Everything was great delicious food and a fun experience!
I definitely enjoyed the hands on experience during dinner. The appetizer wings and potato croquets we really good. The salmon melted in your mouth and the Korean bbq was both yummy and entertaining. You do have the option of having the kitchen cook your food but it’s cool experience doing it at your table.
We were there for Restaurant Week on July 31st . The food was very good. The desserts were mediocre. It seems they went very basic on the desserts, which was disappointing after such good appetizers and entrees.
First time here and it was great! Our server was so nice and resourceful in knowing which foods we would like. The portions were amazing and pretty well sized for restaurant week. I will be back.
I arrived for a NY Restaurant Week lunch on a little lunch date and it was not really busy. The server was nice and attentive, answering all the questions I had about the menu. As for the quality of the Korean BBQ (bulgogi and spicy pork loin), it was top notch. My boyfriend and I had a very long and filling meal, and it was a great experience. Don't forget dessert! The "Omija Dragon" (puff pastry and ice cream) and the "Banana Sabayon" (whipped custard) are a must-try.
This the second time we have visited Bann and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Thank you!
The restaurant accommodated our request for a large table a few hours before arrival, and the food was delicious!
Best Korean BBQ I’ve had. Me and my girlfriend loved it and we plan on reumturning!
I came here with my boyfriend for Restaurant Week. The food and cocktails were really good
Food was delicious and the prices very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Nice cozy setting and the place was not too loud so you could still have a conversation with the person you are with. Staff is also very friendly and on point.
Unfortunately the night we were there the air conditioning was not working well. They brought us a fan.
Other than that the food was great . Cooked at the table. Great place for two couples.
I went to this restaurant for restaurant week to get the most of the experience and you must try the glass noodles ;-)
Refine Korean food. Best Korean food in NYC. Especially Beef tartar Mixed vegetable on rice is amazing...
Now, Chilean Sea bass was outstanding but not on the menu... hope to add this on the menu again.
Great experience for Restaurant Week. Pre fixe menu had a good sample. Waiters/bus boys were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would recommend!
Had a very nice meal and the service was excellent. Barbecue was excellent. The seafood soup was not as flavorful as we would have liked.
The best Korean BBQ restaurant in Manhattan especially before or after a Broadway show.
Fairly warn out neighborhood restaurant that is cheap and fair. Large portions of that is what you are looking for. The service is outstanding . A cheap place to go for a large meal.
