Always love Bann. Great fresh selections either off the menu or grill yourself. Delicious and fresh. Good size portions for the price. Also nice for treating a visitor to a special dinner out.
Cooking in the bbq is fun!
3 people ate the meal that says it’s for 4-6 people, so make sure you order extra or you will leave hungry.
Sake is expensive but delicious
Loved the Korean BBQ. And the desserts were a hit too. Would like a few more sides but overall a good place to eat in the city.
We had NYE dinner at Bann on December 31, 2017. Overall, the food was good and delicious except the waiter misheard what I ordered and brought me other meal, which I thought the one I ordered. However, the waiter fixed the issue easily. I highly reccomend the place to others.
Very fun to go to with a group. Food is delicious!
We enjoyed our meal very much prior to attending a play close by. Food was very good and the wait staff very attentive.
there are three words that can express this “bann”. they are “good,” “better,” and the “best.” the taste was really great and their service was excellent
반 레스토랑을 표현할 수 있는 단어는 3개가 있어요 좋고 더 좋고 그리고 최고라는 거죠. 진짜 맛있게 먹었고 서비스도 좋습니다^^
Bann was so wonderful! We had the glass noodle appetizer, mushroom bbq, and tofu main dish. 3 of us shared it and it was all delicious and enough for us all. It was also fun to cook the mushrooms ourselves. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back the next time we are in nyc! Also, we were 15 minutes late for our reservation but they held it and let us know it was no problem
I picked Bann a bit randomly after our plans for a different Korean restaurant fell through; only when I arrived did I realize I've walked by it many times while passing through Worldwide Plaza. The food was delicious--we had several appetizers (steamed buns were a standout), bibimbap and kalbi. They also have a fun cocktail list. Prices are a bit high--the dishes aren't super-elevated, but you're looking at $20-25 for an entree--but portions are generous.
The service was friendly and attentive but not pushy...we lingered at our table long enough for me to feel a bit guilty, but not once did the staff make us feel at all rushed. This section of midtown can be a bit of a restaurant desert, so this is a nice spot when you want something better than a pub but not a hotel restaurant.
Great food, but a very crowded table situation. Because the tables have barbeque pits in them they can't be moved around. We had 5 people squeezed into a table meant for 4 with no possible way to shift the table to make more space for the chair at the end. We are also used to spicier korean food, but maybe you have to ask for it to be regular spice? This was our second time there. The time before was before the theater, and very comfortable. This time was for dinner and was more crowded then we were hoping for. But that is NY! next time we will go earlier, we do love it there.
