We made a reservation through open table which was confirmed and arrived on time and Resturaunt was closed with no notice
We had to scramble to find another Resturaunt for our clients for dinner!!!
Horrible made reservations and place was CLOSED.....
Brunch was excellent and great music!
Went to banko cantina for Sunday brunch. My friends and I had a great time. The music, food, and service was great. We drank unlimited mimosas and danced the afternoon away. As of now, this has been my favorite brunch spot in Clematis. I definitely recommend.
We had great service and great food! It was $2.00 taco day and they were very good and the corn dish was outstanding! Loved the red sangria! Would definitely go back when in town!
Estuvo súper bien , tenían música 60’s y la pasé muy bien
Amanda and Blu are wonderful! Motown was a big hit and some of the best tacos going. Thanks so much for providing us all with a great time.
Great food and overall fun evening. Service was lacking but feel due to short staffed.
The service was superb....the food was delicious and the price was great ( happy hour) HOWEVER...the highlight of the evening was the drink menu ( try the Adelina)
Went for Sunday birthday brunch for my sister. We enjoyed ourselves. The waiter we had was very good. Made sure we had everything we needed. Atmosphere was nice loved the scenery and the music was good. We ate, cranked, and dance. Great time with friends.
Taco Tuesday is great here!
Everything was absolutely great out waitress Amanda was outstanding. Everything g was going very good until I decided to ask the DJ on the Sky something to play may be one or two songs. He was rude and said u can go to the second floor for that. I spend over $500 !! And his answer was that, seriously ? I had 16 people with me and had a VIP section and I wasn’t able to request a song? That was terrible. Like I said Amanda was terrific and the food was good as well.
My review is based on Valentine's day special. I was not expecting anything out of the ordinary because I have been to this place before, and I knew it was not a place for special occasions. I only had two choices since my boyfriend decided to do something last minute, so I made a reservation and off we went. I got there and the place was almost empty, at first I was like ok. But at the end of the night it was the best thing, I liked and enjoyed the quietness. The food was amazing, and they out did themselves with the Valentine’s special menu. I had lobster tail and bf had stake, we had a bottle of wine, and dessert, tres leches cake was delicious. The food overall was perfect to enjoy it all from entrée to dessert without feeling too full. I was really surprise and happy about our choice. I will definitely be back and recommend other people to go as well.
IF YOU ARE SEAT AT THE RESTAURANT TABLE IS FREEZING COLD AND YOU HAVE WATER LICKING DOWN FROM THE AC CONVECTORS ON YOUR HEAD ALL EVENING..SO, A UMBRELLA IS RECOMANDED !
It was closed , you need to review the time with the location I lost time and had to look for a different place with my business team
We enjoyed the restaurant very much. The appetizers and drinks were amazing. Ambience was fabulous! Highly recommend it!
Cool place but the service was awful and the food was mediocre.
We unknowingly had reservations for Taco Tuesday. Wonderful prices and very good food. We were stunned that we had only been allowed a 5:00 reservation, yet when we arrived the restaurant was empty. We were given permission to walk around an bit and we returned to be seated at 5:30ish. It did fill up by the end of our meal. Why were we not allowed a later (6:00) reservation?
We will return.
The folks at Banko Cantina did everything they could to serve my birthday party of 25 memorable. There was a medium issue with the reservation that caused me to ask my guests to help me combine tables, but we made do.
I'm not sure why this restaurant is on open table. It is more of a club that serves food than a restaurant. There was no hostess or servers. I had not choice but to sit at the bar. Service was lacking (though bartender seemed to have been a long shift with little help) - my drink order forgotten (then done incorrectly), my tacos came before the guacamole appetizer arrived. It was a very odd experience. I will not be back if i find myself in WPB again.
Love it. Food, music and service was awesome
Great food. There were two men singing Motown tunes who were very good. I didn't expect the entertainment and it was a nice surprise. Very good margaritas!
The food wasn't that great, although to be fair I was restricted to vegetarian options, which obviously the restaurant doesn't specialize in.
Restaurant was too cold. Food was also cold. Waitress was attentive to take order, then slow to followup -- and place was slow -- can imagine how much worse would be on busy night
We had a reservation for 9 for my Mom's birthday dinner. Our waitress was attentive, happy, and very sweet! The bus men were also very attentive. It was AYCE Tacos & Motown night. The band was great and entertaining. The tacos were good, my favorite was the skirt steak, and the blood orange Patron margaritas were delicious. The hostess seated us as soon as we got there in a great spot. We had a flawless experience and are looking forward to returning!
We had a great time celebrating a friend's thirtieth birthday at brunch. The after party on the second floor was a great end to it all!!! We will be back!!!
Great decor and beautiful art throughout building. Food was good but didn't quite understand their setup at first.
The food is great but made reservations and when we got there they said they had no tables available. What's the point of reservations then?
The decor in this restaurant was great kudos for decor but it stops there
Ordered drinks they were "watered" down for $15.00 EACH
The food Tacos were Ok but nothing to get excited about
The live music was so loud we ask to b reseated outside there was 1 table outside I have never been anywhere the music was soo loud and if that wasn't bad enough it was from the 80's
Server was very nice
NOT going back
This was an awesome choice for a dinner date with my husband! Will definitely recommend this place to family and friends!
Amazing place. The food was ok but the first time I visited it was better.. the attention was very good
Our server was attentive and responsive, as was the manager. I was impressed by the teamwork demonstrated by the front of house staff. Aside from the red salsa, however, the food was bland. I found a bone in my leftover enchiladas. More attention to menu development and execution is greatly needed.
The restaurant has great decor, the lights are different and cool to look at. The paintings on the walls and columns are fantastic. the food was very good and the drinks are also very good. They have a good variety to pick from.
This place is so marginal in every respect. Confused and disinterested wait staff, an ambiance that seeks to be either a club or a restaurant and fails miserably at both, food that is dry and unimaginative with a limited menu. When a mexican place can't even make a taco that is edible how long can it stay open? While I appreciate the money that was spent converting this former unused building into a 3 story venue, I am glad that it was not my money. So sad.
Would love to rate this place, however, when we arrived they were closed. We had a reservation for 12 noon, and the doors were locked.
Our waitress, I believe it was Amanda, was fantastic. Her recommendations were spot on and she was attentive. Having her as our server made our experience 10x better.
A great fine. Ambiance, food, music and vibe were all excellent. Had no idea it had been there a year. I am going back! Great ritas.
I am a huge fan of Mexican Cuisine and was looking forward to trying a new place. It was a Saturday night 7:45 there were six people seated in the entire restaurant, approximately 10 waitresses and 5 bartenders on staff. Seated immediately and given menu asked if we would like drinks or appetizers to get started. We ordered cocktails and guacamole. Fast forward 15 minutes no drinks no guacamole no further contact with waitress. We could visibly see the bar and all of its bartenders and watched our waitress stand at the well for what seems like an eternity chatting with her friend. 20 minutes into our seating a busboy came out with a small bowl of guacamole. We were very surprised by this as we expected tableside guacamole to be made in front of us. We asked for him to send over our waitress as we wanted to know why it is taking 20 minutes to get simple drinks to us, especially given the fact they had overstaffed the bar and there were very few customers in the restaurant. The waitress finally came over and said she was waiting for an ingredient to make the margarita. She did not apologize she just proceeded to turn around and walk over to the bar. During this time we tasted the guacamole and I can tell you we were less than impressed. Completely devoid of any flavor no spice nothing to write home about. The tortilla chips were clearly store-bought very basic again devoid of flavor. 25 minutes into our dining experience drinks arrived waitress did not ask out things were just dropped off the drinks and went on her way. Well it didn't get any better Margaritas who are very sour and definitely not worth the wait. At that point we all decided this was not going to be a place we were going to have dinner. We again waited and waited at the table for the waitress to come back finally we called someone over and asked for our check. Horrible service bland food!
We loved the service. My martini was awesome too. Food was very good.
We plan to be there again with friends.
Motown band was so much fun! Food was good but if it had been bad we would not have noticed. It was so much fun! We only tried all of the Small Plates and they all were big hits! Lots of fun... don't plan on having a serious conversation on Tuesday nights!
