The food is delicious! The pork sandwich and beet salad were better than expected. My group also enjoyed the deviled eggs and sliders.

Food was great. Menu items were interesting, eclectic and appealing (especially the bruschetta). The ambiance was very inviting and warm. The service also gets high rates. Lastly, I feel that the overall dining and food experience was a value proposition. Bottom line, this one is a winner!

Had a great restaurant week dinner at Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant. Started with Old Fashions at the bar with Happy Hour starters of deviled eggs and restaurant chips & dip. We then moved to a table and had dinner. Beet salad, salmon special, and butterscotch pudding were a hit. My burger was done as requested. Seating in the patio was nice, but you have to accept the airplane noise as a distraction.

We enjoyed our meal and menu selections. The food was presented in a timely manner and the wait staff was professional and welcoming. The noise level was very high, and made it difficult to have a conversation without raising one's voice. We are older and the noise probably affected us more than the younger crowd. The house=made potato chips were amazing...…...definitely the signature appetizer. The accompanying dip was also delicious. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience before the theater.

My husband and I made reservations to meet up with friends for a quick dinner. We went during restaurant week, but had an early reservation so it wasn’t too busy when we arrived. We were promptly greeted by our server, but service went downhill from there. We were indecisive about drinks, so maybe this was a turn off with the wait staff? Overall food was ok- nothing so delicious that it would entice me to return. I’ve been before, but our current subpar service was truly disappointing. I had to make all of my decisions about the restaurant week menu at the time of ordering. This isn’t a new phenomenon during restaurant week, but there should be an alternative way to ring in menu selections so a consumer can choose as they go. Ordered a warm brownie (at the beginning of the meal as required with restaurant week) and it took forever to get to our table. I would liken it to a lava cake, but no disclaimer on how long it would take. I would imagine this couldn’t have been forgotten since I had to order before my appetizer, but really, who knows why this took so long. As we watched other patrons around us wrap up their meals, we felt generally ignored. When our waiter finally made his way back over to check in, we asked for our check. All was ok until he came back (kind of a while later) and I asked if we could split our bill between couples. My husband and I ordered the restaurant week special and beverages, the other couple had not, so there was a significant price difference to just “split” it. The waiter looked a bit annoyed at this and said, “if you have time to wait about 10 minutes, I have to figure out how to do that” or something similar to that- definitely stated we’d have to wait at least 10 minutes. I politely responded we’d wait, and wait is an understatement. I think we waited for 15-20 minutes and I still had to split the price point in meals for our server, he could not figure it out. I enjoy dining out, but this is not going to be a spot we return.

Wonderful wait staff, very attentive. Clean and Friendly atmosphere. A little difficult to find the front door. Kitchen was a little slow for a Sunday night. First and third courses were amazing, main course had some issues with seasoning and incompatible flavor profiles, led to a good but not amazing dining experience.

Not as good as the last time we visited. Server was training another server and spent much of the evening briefing him against the wall, rather than visiting tables to see how we were doing. Food was tasty, but not as great as the last time I came. And I didn't like my drink, and no one ever checked to see whether I might want something different. I had been telling people they must come here, and now would not insist. But I still have hopes for the kitchen and may visit again.

I haven't been to this restaurant in about 8 months but I will definitely be returning soon. My mother is visiting from out of town so we decided to take a friend and have a nice meal. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing. The wait staff was super friendly and it was well worth it!! My favorite restaurant in town by far!

1st time and the everything went well. Traffic was horrible so we were late and had rush our stay but John our waiter was great as well as his team. Kudos for great service and the food and drinks were super.

From the moment we opened the door until we left the experience was perfect. Our waiter was so great and accommodating. Cocktails were interesting and delicious. But our appetizers and food were perfection. From the homemade potato chips & onion dip, fresh burrata with spiced pear jam and our entrees of chicken snitzel & the skirt steak which was cooked perfectly. Our dessert was special since I was celebrating my birthday. We’ll definitely be back while staying in Coronado.

Nice place lace, good food and good service. Although, since they are popular they try to hurry you a bit with your dinner which can be annoying if you continue conversation with friends.

We arrived 15 minutes before the end of happy hour. We ordered drinks, 4 happy hour appetizers( deviled eggs and taco of the day were both very good) and let the very nice waitress, who expounded upon the freshness of their pasta, select her favorite which was off the main happy hour menu. The drinks arrived and within another 10 minutes, everything else. Were we being rushed out to make way for the “real” customers? Good enough to recommend but would have preferred a more leisurely meal.

The ambiance is actually pretty nice but it was 95 degrees that day and the air conditioning did not appear to be on. Our waiter assured us that it was but that it just couldn't keep up. I had doubts about that explanation because the ceiling and duct work is pretty high so the cool air would've sunk to ground level. In addition to that the doors and windows to the outside were open as well. everything else was wonderful, it was just too hot to appreciate it.

Had the ribs. Aweful. Tough to dig thru all the sloppy bbq sauce. Ribs were very inconsistent. Time to take a break from this place.

The food and service were outstanding. We drove 1 hour and 20 minutes in traffic to eat here with our two grown kids for our wedding anniversary because we enjoyed eating there on our own in the past. We will be back, traffic or not!

Visited for the first time and what a great experience! The design of the place is cool and welcoming. The menu made me want to try everything! In the end, had the bruschetta (goat cheese, figs, arugula) - super yum! Also had the tomato basil soup - lovely! And a guilty pleasure, the homemade chips and onion dip - wonderful! My brother had the ravioli and enjoyed every bite!

My only regret is that it is a 2-hour drive from my home - or else I'd be going to eat there a lot!

Highly recommend to anyone who likes the farm to table type of cuisine - fresh and delicious!

Wonderful meal with very friendly and attentive service from John.

Appetizers were bruschetta with goat cheese and figs- delicious.and Brussels sprouts. Hated them as a kid. Love them after having them here.

Main course was pea and ricotta ravioli in a light cream sauce - Aldo delicious.

Will definitely return on my next trip.

We went there for brunch on the way to the airport! Worth the small detour. The food is on a seasonal menu and brunch was fabulous. The Vegetarian Benedict was very good and the homemade cinnamon roles should not be missed! My husband had the pork tacos and said they were some of the best he has had. We will go back again!

I had the most expensive item on the menu (Blackened Salmon) and found it to be disappointing. The heavy sauce it came in was clearly designed to disguise fish that was less than fresh. The restaurant is loud and drinks expensive.
