My daughter is a student at Wilkes University, so I decided to take her to dinner here to celebrate her birthday. Everything was delicious! The service was exceptional. We ordered the white asparagus and watermelon radicchio. The chef sent us two additional complimentary small plates of olives and “beans right from Italy”; so good! For entrees we had swordfish, pasta, and Brussels sprouts. Again, everything thing delish and and done perfectly.
Menu was unique and contained a great variety of items. The food was delivered to the table quickly and was delicious. Some items were salty, but still very tasty. Ham and Orzo Mac and Cheese was perfect. The crispy potatoes with long hot aioli was simply phenomenal. Our party also ordered veal, lamb, and duck which were all well received. The service was impeccable. Cocktails were top notch and innovative, wine selection was mediocre. Price of items was on par with quality and portion size. Overall, delightful experience.
We were seated in the vault so it was very private. Food and service were excellent. We will be returning.
We ordered a bunch a small plates to share, creating a tapas style meal. All the dishes were delicious as were the cocktails. The kitchen treated us very well with a couple of extra yummy treats.
Stopped by for Easter brunch w friends on the way back from a birthday celebration in the Susquehanna Valley. Food was delicious; servers were attentive and gracious; drinks were slammin. Best brunch this choosy Brooklyn crew has had in a hot minute!
Very competitive with the other fine dining establishments in Scranton/WB. We had multiple cocktails, ‘small plates’, and entrees - everything was excellent.
The ambiance is something special. They’ve done an excellent job with the space. Anyone who puts forth this kind of effort, has the balls to open a fine dining restaurant in August 2020, and delivers such a high quality experience, deserves the support of the community.
Next time you are thinking about reservations at one of the other, more established restaurants at a similar price point, try Bank + Vine instead. Get the lamb entree.
We have eaten here 4 times now and every time has been better than the last. Every member of the staff have been attentive without feeling intruded upon. Each time we have gone we have had a different menu and each time it was fantastic. I've eaten a total of 16 courses and can't complain about 1. Due yourself a favor and stop in here for dinner!
excellent fine dining. Quality of both cuisine and experience unrivaled , outside of NYC
This place never disappoints. Everything is always top quality and the staff is amazing.
1. great menu choices but such small portions for the price, it's hard to justify spending that kind of money
2. service was mediocre: had to ask for water refills x3, waitress really had no working knowledge of the menu and had to "go check" with any question I had, left empty dirty glasses on the table after bringing second drink, never checked back to see if meals were ok, appetizer was cold
Excellent selection of spirits, including Rabbit Hole, a small but noteworthy distillery near Louisville. Duck confit and beef short rib special were excellent. A welcome respite from the Covid confinement. Tables were well spaced but still cozy.
Absolutely incredible! First time at Bank + Vine and it won’t be the last!
Food and service were outstanding!
It was our first time there, we were looking for somewhere different to go. This was definitely different. The menu was mostly seafood, we aren't seafood eaters. So we had the steak.
But desert was absolutely delicious!!!
Wonderful experience! Food was delicious and the atmosphere is great! One of the best places in NEPA.
Phenomenal!! Best in NEPA I’ve been to.
The best! No one beats them in food or service
Anniversary celebration
I had brunch at B&V the past 3 Sundays. I look forward to doing it as often as I’m able to. The food is absolutely delicious, staff is wonderful, and atmosphere is amazing. Each time I brought someone different with me and everyone was impressed as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. Drink mixologist on staff too!
When I made the reservation I didn't realize they were having their monthly 5 course dinner. Tonight dinner was Cantonese and all I can say WOW !!!
The meal started with Dim Sum and had a accompanying drink with it.
The next course was Chinese ribs with a vodka infused drink -amazing
the third course was prawns with udon noodles with a gin drink.
The fourth course was Peking duck, pickled cucumbers and Chinese bread. DELICIOUS!! with a whiskey drink YUMMY. The last course was Chinese beignets with a mango daiquiri.
I cant wait to try the regular menu
KUDOS to the CHEF and staff for an amazing dinner
Great food and service!
First time at brunch- everything was delicious and the service top rate. Hubby and I had the “bucket of bubbles” Mimosas and our friend had a “build your own” Bloody Mary mixed up for him tableside. 2 of us had omlettes, 1 had eggs Benedict - they all loved their food. I had the Chicken &Waffles and they were to die for!! We were so full when we left we did not eat anything else for the rest of the day! We also really appreciated being able to meet the chef and the general manager. We’ll be going back next week for their Cantonese dinner!
Went here for my birthday brunch . I am so glad I found this place . There are not many brunch spots in the area and not only was this place so cute but the food was out of this world . Our waiter was also very sweet and attentive to us . I’ll definitely be coming back again
Really solid meal, with excellent service. Low key vibe, and high end food coupled with a few homey dishes made for a great dinner.
Food was great, service was fantastic an overall wonderful evening!
Food service was excellent. Presentation was beautiful. The duck confit was perfectly presented with a crisp skin and a sweet sauce that balanced the fat of the duck. The lamb shoulder was excellent and cooked to perfection. Wine list is ample with good choices and great value.
Great going for a new restaurant
Fantastic, from start to finish. Seated immediately with a party of 5. (With reservations...) Drink orders were taken, (with a few modifications for my more "discerning" read picky friends. Our server Katie was great. Made us feel like her only table, on a Saturday. We ordered a ton of small plates and entrees. It was so good I couldn't get photos. It was gone so fast! Everyone got a different entree, from steak to salmon to chicken. The assistant servers kept our tables clean and water full. COVID restrictions and procedures were highly visible. Can't wait to come back.
The staff was fantastic in providing recommendations that where amazing. The oysters where clean and fresh. It was the best dinner experience I have had while traveling in quite some time.
Thank you all. I would highly recommend this place over any place in a 30 mile radius.
The menu is meant to be farm to table and caters to tasting. However, it is a bit too eclectic. The appetizers and salads are great. But the entree selections are limited. Wine list and value are reasonable. Unfortunately while they get an A for effort, this is a disappointing replacement for the prior French restaurant which occupied the space.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant ever since I moved here a year ago (when it was Le Manhattan Bistro). I planned on coming on my birthday, but that was in May, so clearly I couldn't. It was excellent. The place, the service, everything. The chef even came out and talked to me for a while. You can tell that this is a man devoted to his craft and to this restaurant. I would recommend this place to everyone. Bravo!
Brand new restaurant in the area. Normally, with new places, there’s staffing issues as well as problems getting the courses out. Not one hiccup. Staff was wonderful, food was perfectly staged and every single menu item ordered was tasty and delicious. The whole bronzino was fabulous. Best fish in NEPA. A wonderful option to the normal pizza place/Italian restaurant that are so common here.
Great ambience and service! My husband and I stopped in before a show at the Kirby center, the place was not that busy, we got to sit in the vault room. We had our private dining experience! Wednesday is $1 oyster night, a great deal- the oysters were huge!
First time back since they reopened. Under new ownership. Much better. Hostess. Food was excellent
Not somewhere I would weekly bit on the pricey side but nice for a change.
My husband and I went for Valentines Day brunch and loved everything about our experience. The service was prompt, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was delicious and very memorable, the prices were fair. We will be back soon!
Our waitress was not very attentive she would be gone for long periods of time also never came back with the food she was going to box for us. Food was very good and the manager was nice
Food was great, service was great. Had a waiter that was training and he did great. Drinks were tasty!
Excellent as always!
This is always a perfect experience. Manager Jesse and his entire staff go out of their way to make every visit perfect. And the food! I wish I could have their bone marrow appetizer every day. There are good restaurants around in the area but none are better than this, by far.
Everything about our experience here - every time we go - is exemplary. This is not hyperbole. The food is exemplary, served with much grace and great pacing. It’s one of the few restaurants on the planet where I know I have many choices to struggle over on the menu. The bone marrow is to die for!! You will never be disappointed here.
