Absolutely fantastic. The food and the service routes standing. I would recommend this place for anyone
What an amazing place.
Chef Chad was so gracious and the food was outstanding!!
Great addition in Wilkes Barre.
Went here with friends to celebrate my birthday. It was the best meal I have had at a restaurant in NEPA ever! Yes, it was that good!! Everything was fresh, unique and presented beautifully. The staff (both in the bar and at the table) were excellent as well. I would highly recommend (and will be going back soon)!
Fantastic staff, food and overall service
Food is amazing!!!
The Absolut Martinis are delicious.
The artisan bread was outstanding.
Fresh Anchovies and Tuna Carpacio...excellent
Cacio Pepe and Tile Fish unique...both winners.
Complimentary side dish of beans in a vibrant oil and vinegar dressing went well with both entrees.
Too full for dessert....Maybe next time.
The only thing that spoiled the otherwise wonderful experience of dining here was the fact that the diners next to us were allowed to bring their dog ( not a service animal) to sit along side them.
I love animals, but not at indoor restaurants of this caliber.
Food was well above average, imaginative gourmet. Service was exceptional. Enjoyed my visit
Great follow-up visit for us! While on vacay from NJ & NY, our party of 6 had come here back in June for Sunday brunch, which was exquisite! Situated in a repurposed bank, the decor is both interesting and eclectic, as are the ambient music choices - and the employees! Most of us went for the shakshuka, a Middle Eastern breakfast bowl consisting of eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Unbelievably tasty! The side dishes of bacon, avocado toast, etc. were amazing. The service was impeccable, and we met Chef Chad, a surprisingly well-versed man of 32. Sunday brunch was packed. We vowed to come back. We did so this past weekend, coming on another vacay primarily TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! We did Saturday brunch, which was less crowded than Sunday, but no less in quality of an experience. Some repeated the shakshuka, one had bagel & lox, and another the breakfast burger (beef burger, egg, bacon, etc.). Fantastic! For both visits, the restaurant plied us with free tastings of other appetizers, etc., that we did not order. This time we fell in love with the blueberry tea cakes, and the associated fresh-made berry jam. Perfect! We ordered a bunch to go, and were again completely satisfied, and properly satiated. Chef Chad again warmly greeted us, and a good time was had by all! Next time, we will come for dinner...
This was our tenth time. We were so disappointed. Food is usually phenomenal and this time it was almost inedible. Our waitress was very nice, but we were rushed through the whole meal. We ordered two apps and dinner and were in and out in 45 minutes
We were there for our first wedding anniversary, we’re met with a complimentary glass of champagne and had a great experience beginning to end. Drinks, food, and dessert were all wonderful. We will be back
Great service, fresh ingredients and creative selections. I highly recommend the whole bronzino. It was delicious ‘
Great customer service, very professional and friendly staff. The food was fresh and delicious. Very unique and 1 of a kind plates. Drinks are made well. 10/10 recommend
Traveling from DC and spent the night nearby and read about this place online. Lovely historic bank building. Very attentive staff and food was delicious. French inspired and very sophisticated by any standards. A real find and if ever in this part of the country again will definitely stop in again.
Great atmosphere….food..drinks…dessert ….amazing…best chef our area has seen!
Such incredible food. I've had the pleasure and privilege to dine all around the world, and Chad's food is worthy of the work;d's capital. What a treat to have him here in NEPA.
Beautiful location, great ambience, menu selection, and quality of the food made our table feel like we were not dining in Wilkes-Barre. The small plates and large plates our table ordered were fantastic. Highly recommend
The food is always delicious and the service is always excellent, especially Caitlin. She always stops over to say hi, even if we aren’t her table.
The staff , and the meal was a perfect 10!!! The chef is absolutely Devine with his menu !! All the flavors were spectacular!! This is no ordinary chef !! We had tuna appetizer , octopus , And lamb shoulder entrees and as soon as we took the first bite , the hubs and I said, “ we can’t wait to come back” !!!! Well done everyone !! We are both very hard tp please and this exceeded our expectations!! Taylor our server was awesome and very friendly !! Would request her again In a heartbeat !!!!!
Second visit and we ordered different dishes and they were all wonderful. We especially liked the crab crudo. Service was also very good.
Food was excellent but it took a while to receive our meal (over an hour). Service was amazing.
The food was very good. I was disappointed in their handling of the reservation. Although they list themselves as having outdoor dining and the reservation requested outdoor dining, upon arrival the host informed our party that the restaurant does not have outdoor seating. The host’s talents might not be best suited for front of house customer interaction.
Good, service, and ambiance were absolutely amazing. Can't wait to return
Very enjoyable evening! Food was excellent. Service was very good. the Drinks are a little pricey; however, overall a great place for dinner!!
I wish I could comment more on food and drink… it took the hostess ten minutes to look up from her phone to seat us. After fifteen minutes seated at our table a waitress came to take drink orders. After another twenty minutes we decided to leave. Truly dissatisfied.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback from 3 months ago. That day there was a large event in house at the same time you had come in and we were sadly light on staff due to the ongoing pandemic and hiring issues. We do apologize that you didn't have the amazing experience our guests normally have, but we have beyond pushed past that point since May. We're hopeful you'll give us another chance to change your mind and provide you with a great experience!
Marginal brunch meal. Asked to substitute lox on Eggs Benedict but it was not allowed by the chef. Meal was tasteless and the eggs were underdone. The staff is great, very friendly and accommodating but the food continues to disappoint.
Everything here is exceptional, creatively and carefully crafted, with staff that pay attention to detail.
Just wow! From the unique presentation and preparation of the food to the wonderful warm service, it was an incredible experience. Highly recommend!
Seriously one of the next meals we’ve had in a long time. Very flavorful dishes and a knowledgeable, helpful staff.
My daughter is a student at Wilkes University, so I decided to take her to dinner here to celebrate her birthday. Everything was delicious! The service was exceptional. We ordered the white asparagus and watermelon radicchio. The chef sent us two additional complimentary small plates of olives and “beans right from Italy”; so good! For entrees we had swordfish, pasta, and Brussels sprouts. Again, everything thing delish and and done perfectly.
Menu was unique and contained a great variety of items. The food was delivered to the table quickly and was delicious. Some items were salty, but still very tasty. Ham and Orzo Mac and Cheese was perfect. The crispy potatoes with long hot aioli was simply phenomenal. Our party also ordered veal, lamb, and duck which were all well received. The service was impeccable. Cocktails were top notch and innovative, wine selection was mediocre. Price of items was on par with quality and portion size. Overall, delightful experience.
We were seated in the vault so it was very private. Food and service were excellent. We will be returning.
We ordered a bunch a small plates to share, creating a tapas style meal. All the dishes were delicious as were the cocktails. The kitchen treated us very well with a couple of extra yummy treats.
Stopped by for Easter brunch w friends on the way back from a birthday celebration in the Susquehanna Valley. Food was delicious; servers were attentive and gracious; drinks were slammin. Best brunch this choosy Brooklyn crew has had in a hot minute!
Very competitive with the other fine dining establishments in Scranton/WB. We had multiple cocktails, ‘small plates’, and entrees - everything was excellent.
The ambiance is something special. They’ve done an excellent job with the space. Anyone who puts forth this kind of effort, has the balls to open a fine dining restaurant in August 2020, and delivers such a high quality experience, deserves the support of the community.
Next time you are thinking about reservations at one of the other, more established restaurants at a similar price point, try Bank + Vine instead. Get the lamb entree.
We have eaten here 4 times now and every time has been better than the last. Every member of the staff have been attentive without feeling intruded upon. Each time we have gone we have had a different menu and each time it was fantastic. I've eaten a total of 16 courses and can't complain about 1. Due yourself a favor and stop in here for dinner!
excellent fine dining. Quality of both cuisine and experience unrivaled , outside of NYC
This place never disappoints. Everything is always top quality and the staff is amazing.
1. great menu choices but such small portions for the price, it's hard to justify spending that kind of money
2. service was mediocre: had to ask for water refills x3, waitress really had no working knowledge of the menu and had to "go check" with any question I had, left empty dirty glasses on the table after bringing second drink, never checked back to see if meals were ok, appetizer was cold
Excellent selection of spirits, including Rabbit Hole, a small but noteworthy distillery near Louisville. Duck confit and beef short rib special were excellent. A welcome respite from the Covid confinement. Tables were well spaced but still cozy.
