   Only two members of staff serving and were overwhelmed with a large party. Things were very slow

   We went last day of lockdown. Very busy. Alot of traffic that day so everyone turning up at the same time. New restaurant so you can see they still need more experience. Our waitress was very friendly. Lovely deco. Think they need more time to get organised. Everyones orders were coming late lots of complaints. Food was tasty apart from the plantain curry was under cooked. They didn't charge us for this. Overall customers need to give it a channe. They just need more practice on timeing. Food prep. Etc

   Dear Susie, Thank you very very much for reviewing Bandaa. I’m glad to hear that you have enjoyed the food and service given by our staffs. As you mentioned their were a lot of delays on that day due to the heavy traffic in Hatch End and this cosed a big chaos everywhere especially if the restaurant has to close at 10pm.    Had a lovely dinner. Food was great, ambience was fab and the waitress was lovely. However, we went based on the advertised 25% off during November. Monday to Thursday. We went on a Tuesday. When reviewing the bill we noticed it didn't include the discount, which may be a simple error. We asked the staff about this and they said they'll check. Ten minutes, and no communication later, a bill silently appeared with the discount. Now I have no issue with the error itself, what ruined my experience was the lack of communication, and not one sorry. When I was leaving noone looked at us or said bye, so I let the staff know that I didn't want anything but its something to look out for. They said 'I dont know what to say' I'm so sad that a lovely restaurant offered this service as i can't see myself going back or recommending it Either!

   Excellent bar with excellent staff. We went for drinks before dinner and was so surprised at how nice it was

   Visited this place over the weekend for Hubbys birthday, thought it would have been perfect; him being from Kenya and a great fan of this kind of food but unfortunately not the best, deco was ok, 1star for everything else. The staff are constantly over you, which can be overwhelming. Alot of Kenyan Indian households would be making better authentic Kenyan food than Bandaa. Our order consisted over fried peanuts, par cooked chips where you could taste the rawness of the potatoes, cheesy chips went back as the cheese didn't quite taste right. Mogo with Exo sause, what a joke.. an insult to Exotica. Overall, overpriced, below average food, more Indian than Kenyan.. menu with local Kenyan names but nothing like it, drinks menu has more items than the food menu.

   Overpriced food with little or no authentic Kenyan taste. Not anywhere near as good as their competition based a few miles down the road.

    Really beautifully themed. My partner is from Kenya and she loved the food. I really enjoyed the food. The music was little to high for me as the waiter couldn’t hear what I was ordering. Really enjoyable place. We will be definitely be going back to try other things off the menu.
