Bamboo Sushi Lake Oswego

This was our fourth time here, the service is good, but the food value/quality is not the same as when we first visited Bamboo years ago at their original location. I had the Chef's choice Chirashi bowl and the sushi rice tasted like regular rice, for $27+ it was just okay and I would not order it again. We also ordered the tempura appetizer with $2 extra for a shrimp and the shrimp was so small it was a joke to charge extra for that, seriously the shrimp looked smaller than the kind you buy frozen!

The dragon roll was okay with only 6 small pieces for $13, and maybe the fish is sustainable, but eating here felt no different than going to a conveyor belt-like restaurant. What stung the most is after I got home I received an email that offered a free drink ($14 value) in March, too late and the waitress did not even mention it or offer in-kind despite I ordered a drink and spent over $100 on dinner! I think I'm done with Bamboo Sushi, go elsewhere for better value or quality.

Food is always fresh and very delicious. The service was excellent. Only suggestion would be to add more wine selections.

This was my first time to eat here and I was less than excited. I was there to celebrate my grandson's birthday so wanted it to be special. The food was outstanding but the noise and fever-pitch commotion of the place was almost unbearable. We were seated right in the line of traffic and had people waiting for their tables right on top of us. It felt like a factory to see how many people could be fed & moved along.

The food and service were very good. It was a bit noisy and we were seated close enough to the door we got a chill every time it opened. Otherwise, it was excellent. I did make note in my OpenTable reservation (and also told the server) that we were there for my daughters birthday and they did nothing to recognize it. We didn’t want or expect anything like singing, but it’s always nice when a place makes a note of a special occasion and tries to make it special.

Slow service+ untidy restrooms+dirty seats+high price+OK food = low value for money.

My waitress and the hostess was very nice. The Shoshone chef didn’t acknowledge me for what felt like 5 minutes. Then I ores my roll with VERY little rice. I came with a lot of rice. He never asked how I was. I go to the LO Bamboo sushi frequently and have always gotten great service so not getting that surprised me.

Prompt and attentive service and freshly prepared foods with lovely presentation. As a vegetarian/pescatarian, I appreciate that there are vegetarian options on the menu! Restaurant can be pretty noisy and upbeat-not a bad thing, just describing how it feels to us.

Quite noisy, food was only 'ok,', except for Tempura/fried Cauliflower and Green Machine which were very good. The Shishito Peppers were unusually hot/ spicy. Usually there's 1 hot in the bunch, these were all.

First off, the food was delicious just as one would expect. What we did not expect was very poor service. Our reservations were for 7:15 and we checked in on time. We were told there would be a short wait while they cleared the table, no problem except the short wait was 15 minutes and we were looking at several open tables. The other group of four that came in right behind us were seated before us and had their cocktails by the time we were ordering our's. Then it became clear that our server put in the wrong table number as we twice got food that we had not ordered. The food runners were very confused. Last but not least, our first dish was an amazing scallop nigiri. We loved it and immediately ordered two more orders for a total of four. Our other dishes came and went and still no extra scallops. There was easily a ten minute wait with literally nothing on our table when the scallops appeared. They might as well have been dessert and not part of our dinner. The service was disappointing for sure.

Great as always! Green Machine is delicious!

Rebecca was our server/bartender, she was exceptional and knowledgeable. The restaurant was busheling! Our food came out fast and accurate. Osmar was also our sushi chef! He was very nice and made the best sushi we have ever had! We will definitely be back, but only if we have Rebecca as our server!

I felt very rushed. The food was brought very quickly. I ordered green tea and never got it. We weren't drinking alcohol , I just felt that they wanted to turn our table over to get someone else in there3 quickly. Different servers brought out the different dishes, so no real connection with one server. The food was quite good though.
