   I was very worried about going to this place after reading all the negative reviews, but we decided to go anyways. Atmosphere: 5/5 , nice views and the ambience is nice. Having said that, the band was too loud for dinner time. Food: 3/5 . The sushi was OK , but not anything like Nobu or other comparators. Service: 1/5 stars. Price and billing practice: 0/5 They charged a $16 usd music/band fee that was never told to us before or stated anywhere on the menu or at the time of booking. After I complained to the manager/owner (who was super dismissive), he said that it would have been mentioned in a random flyer, but there were no flyers to be found anywhere in the restaurant . He then said it was on the tv outside the restaurant!?! Absolutely no mention to us on the menu, on the time of booking, or by the waitress or any signage anywhere. Complete deceiving/charlatan behaviour. Also for the mediocre service, they help themselves to a generous 18% service charge. READ ALL THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS. You will see a theme.

   What a disappointment! It was very pretty but the food was awful. The duck nachos was a pile of grease, the dumplings were just bland, the rolls were fishy and the wine was awful. Done with Bamboo House

   I came for the Gipsy concert. i had a good time over all. I really appreciated the effort put for me to get the table i wanted. it made a difference that night.

    This was a fantastic meal but also a fantastic experience. The restaurant has top notch service and the food was amazing. I had the special of gnocchi and chicken in a green curry. We also had numerous rolls and the Korean fried rice. Deserts were also incredibly prepared and tasted divine. We will be back again. Probably tonight

    We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant is gorgeous, has an amazing view, and the food is, of course, amazing, the service was excellent. We shall treasure our memories of this evening forever.

    Honestly the Bamboo House is perfection! From the view to the food to the service. Look for their sign because it’s a bit tricky to get to the fist time as you need to drive up a long driveway but they have valet parking!

    Great patio venue with excellent view and great ambience. On Thursday evening, they had a jazz singer and combo which created a great background to a wonderful meal (sushi for us) and a romantic evening. Highly recommend for a memorable evening!

    Had a beautiful view except when people stood in front of us instead of going to the stage type area/overlook area, was also surprised at the entertainment charge. Staff was very pleasant, courteous, helpful and fun. Will definitely return!

    First time visitors. Atmosphere is outstanding like something you would find in New York or London. The view over Simpson Bay and even the airport is spectacular. Food is fantastic. Beautifully presented, well timed, and delicious. Service is wonderful - attentive without being intrusive. Overall a great experience - you gotta eat here!

    We got there early, and We paid $10 to valet. We made a reservation so we could get an outside table with a great view. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the Duck Nachos. The sushi was great as well. Our waitress was great and offered to take our picture with the amazing sunset view.

    The view and overall ambiance makes this a special occasion place. Next time I’ll try the sushi which it is most known for. A little pricey but worth it. Thursday is jazzy music which makes it even more fun

    Truly magical setting, inventive menu, terrific spot to be in as sun sets and beyond. No self parking, only valet ($10) or quick shuttle from grocery across the street.
