   Beautiful sunsets, excellent cocktails, and outstanding food at Bamboo House tonight. At the bar can’t beat Happy Hour 2 for 1 cocktails. The sushi is outrageous. We shared the rib-eye cooked to our liking. The ambiance is absolutely incredible. Finally, a special shout-out to Val and Raul for the great service and taking good care of us.

   Although the views are amazing, we were unaware that they were charging all members (8) of our party an $8 cover charge for the entertainment (3-piece band). There was nothing on Open Table to denote this charge and upon arrival were informed of it by the hostess. Sadly, it ruined the experience for our group. The amount of time the entertainment played while we were there was not worth the cost. The food was good, nothing exceptional. I would only recommend when there was not entertainment, if not for the food, but the view!

   Beautiful setting overlooking Simpson Bay and Princess Juliana Airport. Excellent food with a focus on sushi but a diverse menu sure to please non fish lovers as well. Attentive service rounded out an excellent dining experience! This is a MUST TRY while visiting Sint Maarten!

    Food and service were excellent, but heads up, most of the tables are wrought iron, thus, the condensation drips right through to your lap. Coupled with their inexpensive black paper napkins is a nightmare for your light colored Island clothes. The black napkins will bleed right onto your clothing. Hopefully they will consider placemats and cloth napkins in the future.

    The ambience is the only positive element about Bamboo House. The food quality is really poor compared to the ridiculous price you pay for this meal. I chose beef with my Udon noodles and the meat was skimpy and riddled with gristle. There were few vegetables. One note. Another guest got 2 different sushi rolls, something Bamboo House claims to specialize in preparing. The sushi was unfavorable and unmemorable. I have no desire to use this restaurant for work events and I will not recommend this restaurant to visiting guest.

    I Googled the best seafood places to celebrate my birthday with my friends since it was most of our first time at SXM and The Bamboo House was rated the best and needless to say everyone in my group were very impressed including myself. I won the favor of my friends in the choice I made.

    We booked this for our last night on the island for our honeymoon trip & it was spectacular! The view, food, music, drinks, everything was amazing! My only recommendation for the host is to seat those who arrive first with the best view. The table we were sat at first was in a walkway and only one of us could enjoy the view. At that time there was only 1 other table seated in the whole restaurant. The staff repeatedly told us those tables were for birthdays.. I was a bit disappointed because we were on our honeymoon and it seemed like other people birthdays were more important. Nonetheless, we asked to be moved and the staff accommodated our request. But as people were seated, we watched this happen quite a few more times. People were sat at a table & requested to move..

    It was not our first visit to Bamboo House. We keep returning because of the glorious views, great ambience and tasty modern menu. It did not disappoint- yet again. Our party of four all thought our apps and meals were delicious. Special mention for the "Jealousy" cocktail, which was quite yummy. Our server Martin, was perfection.

    Came to Bamboo House for the sunset views, a group at the beach highly recommended it. Food was great! Best sushi I have had. Really good dessert as well. Social media team was busy during our visit so kind of felt like we couldn’t get in their way to take good pictures with the view but otherwise good service overall. If we came back we would sit at the bar for happy hour specials. We will recommend to anyone visiting the island.

    My previous experience at bamboo house was good but this time it was underwhelming. - upon entering I was told the dogs were not allowed. Despite the online reservation that stated I would bring dogs which was confirmed. Fortunately, they were let in after all but I was requested not to bring dogs anymore. Despite having brought dogs before to Bamboo house and got complemented that they behaved better than some guest. - the waiter walked away from us (several times) when we were still talking to him. Amongst other times, when we were expressing our surprise they didn't serve tea. - the waiter left the check on our table without us asking for it. - the food was generally alright but the endamame was off / under cooked. To me not worth it to go back. They have become pretentious.

    The sunsets at Bamboo House are amazing!!!! It's an open deck so you may want to prepare yourself if rain is in the forecast, but a little drizzle is well worth the amazing experience that you'll have here. I've been here for over 8 times in the last 6 months and I'm NEVER dissappointed with the food, service, ambiance, price and general experience. The waiters and waitresses are AMAZING!!! It's a place that you should experience at least once!! Bon appetite

    Beautiful dining experience. Great views! Fun games on the lower level for the kids 9 & 13. Great service. Excellent sushi, I only wish they had a larger sushi menu ( without cream cheese). I will definitely go back, overall it was excellent!

    Food was ok. I asked for a seared salmon roll without the eel and tuna. Server said they could accommodate it but it still came out incorrect. I can’t have raw meat right now. Doesn’t matter if they claim it was cooked or not, I didn’t ask for it for a reason. Oh and the service was extremely slow. We had to get up and pay at the bar due to the waiter taking forever to go back and forth. The live music and ambience were good.
