This hip and trendy restaurant and lounge is set in a meticulously restored 19th century colonial Sugar-mill with an enormous terrace with an amazing view of Simpson Bay. Award winning Sushi and Steak with Sushi chefs hailing from Nobu, Morimoto, and Makodo. Hot kitchen features aged steaks and fresh fish. Lots of appetizers including our famous Duck Nachos and Dumplings. Great for large groups and parties. Our in house DJ drives the vibe, inspiring nightly sunsets from high atop Diamond Mountain.
Bamboo's Sushi rolls are legendary, having won best sushi for 20 consecutive years. Serving late night fares and amazing true craft cocktails at our Bamboo Bar, starting at 5pm for sunsets until late into the night.
Every Thursday is Gatsby Night. The Band starts at 8:00 The Regular menu is in effect. There is a $7.00 per person music charge added to everyone's bill. Guitar player Don Solay is playing on Sunday Night.

We had great expectations of this restaurant - and for the view and the layout these were met. You have a great view whether you sit inside or on the outdoor deck of the Maho and Simpson Bay area. If you look off the end of the deck you see the SXM runway - a great view at night too when all lit up. The ambiance was great too. Staff from the shuttle driver, to the man who came out to walk us in with an umbrella and the waitress were exceptional. As we had several great meals on the island, we thought this would be one of the best but it was just 'ok'. The crab dumplings were on the cold side, chewy and very small for the price. The shrimp tempura was very good. The salmon was an exceptionally large portion and tasted very good. The pad thai I would not recommend though - it was gluey, extremely vinegary tasting - and we simply could not eat it. Despite leaving most of it in the bowl - no one asked us about how the food was. Also, there was a female 'manager' there that was reprimanding a male staff member about not filling the water glasses at another table right in the middle of the restaurant. Found that very unprofessional. My recommendation is this is a great place to go for the view, have a drink at the bar, but look for reviews on the food as it seems a bit of a hit or miss

Another perfect evening/dinner at Bamboo House. The service was excellent - Natasha was fantastic, fast, professional and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and well prepared. And of course, the views of the sunset and the Sint Maarten panorama from our table are a sight to remember. We will be back.

5 Stars – A Must-Visit in Sint Maarten! Dining at Bamboo House was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful ambiance and stylish decor. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between chic and cozy, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. What made it even more special was being able to watch planes land at night from the restaurant—such a unique and mesmerizing view! A special shoutout to Rafael, whose service was on another level. He was attentive, professional, and truly enhanced our dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll recommend Bamboo House to anyone visiting Sint Maarten. It’s a gem!

The views are amazing. The food, service, are not like it used to be to be. Very sub par for such a beautiful concept. We have been there numerous times and are sad about the lowering standards.

Bamboo house was a treat for all the senses. It was a magical evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. Can’t wait to be back!

Super cool atmosphere. Great menu and food was very good. Highly recommend visiting while on vacation. Recommended for vacationers looking for a unique place with good food, won’t miss.

I have been here many times before and was excited to go again. The Valet was outstanding, then we get seated at a table with no place settings. Waited for 15 minutes to be acknowledged No place settings were provided, poof she is gone, ordered drinks 15 mins go by…..we considered leaving at this point. Ordered our food. Tapas and Sashimi. 30 mins go by. No check in then a quick rush to go by and tell us the food is coming. Poof she is gone and our drinks are finished she never offered to fill out drinks We sat while other tables were served starters, dinner, etc. I grabbed place settings from a nearby empty table. The food was outstanding once delivered. The server was disinterested and even rude. Got a second round of drinks. At the end of our meal I let the server know we were disappointed in the service and she stated the printer wasn’t working, HUH? 2 hours for Tapas and drinks and a server that appeared put out that she we were there. I will go to Alina’s moving forward.
