BAM Café is located in a loft space atop the Brooklyn Academy of Music. With live readings and a pre-show dinner, there’s always plenty of entertainment to go with your meal. It opens two hours before the evening performances at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, so guests can grab a meal, snack or drink before seeing a show. There are also live performances at BAM Café every Friday and Saturday night. The menu features a variety of small plates and salads, including ahi tuna nachos, salmon rillettes and roasted butternut squash salad. Diners can also enjoy larger dishes like the signature BAM burger or cornmeal-dusted catfish tacos. Satisfy a sweet tooth with a deep chocolate sabra. BAM Café's full-service bar offers a variety of signature cocktails, craft beers and premium wines. Guests may purchase an in-theater cup and bring a drink into the theater.
