Bam Bam Kitchen
Great spot, very efficiently run but the servers still make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone is pleasant and cheerful. Food is quite good, a great addition to the Ardmore food scene!
Love Bam Bam so much! Delicious Korean food, great service, so many yummy options. Try it for lunch or BYOB for dinner. Yum!
My whole family went here for the first time this weekend and at one point, each person just sat there amazed, LoL. The food here is soooo good!
Absolutely delicious bibimbop and kimchi fried rice. We'll be back.
First time here. Been to AMH many times and been hearing great things about this place and wanted to try Korean cuisine... well I'll be back for sure. Great food, great peeps and simply awesome.
Excellent food , the variety was a lot and everything tasted good . Need a reservation as it seems to be very busy .
Great food and attentive service!
All the food was great. The new stir fry menu is fantastic. All kinds of options to choose!
Always enjoy a good meal each visit. The stir menu sweet and spicy chicken and shrimp was very good.
Awesome experience all around. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere!
We went during Ardmore's Restaurant Week and maybe that colored our experience? We thought the food just OK, the service was very good and accomodating, and the price during Restaurant Week was fair. We don't think we'll be back.
The food was delicious and the service attentive. However, it was very overpriced for the meager portions.
Had wonderful experience! The service was outstanding and the food was amazing!
I simply love coming to eat here. The food is INCREDIBLE, the servings are generous, the side dishes are always fresh, and the service makes you feel highly regarded. Julia has a knack for remembering faces and always greets us warmly. Take someone special when you go; they’re bound to love it!
Service staff was good, menu items where interesting but nothing over the top, table spacing was kind of tight but ok, I would try it again.
Unfortunately, we had a mixed experience at Bam Bam Kitchen. Our service was very good, and the servers were attentive. The primary disappointments were the food and the cost. My wife ordered a tofu/kimchi dish that was underwhelming. Her biggest frustration was that the tofu appeared to be served straight out of the package. My food, while very good, seemed a bit overpriced. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning for a while.
Almost hate to write this review because then I'll have to share this gem with the world. But I want this place to stay around for a LONG time. From the door, we were met with stellar service. And the buzzers at the table for your server, water, questions, check? Brilliant fun feature (just keep the kids away). With a bit of K-pop in the background, my palate earned a treat of delectable, pleasing flavors. Having a punky tummy, I opted for nothing above a one chili rating, and it was perfect. Asked for low sodium foods ahead of time and they made such a provision. Nothing was greasy. Piping hot plates every time -- unless it was a cold dish, and then it came at the perfect chill temperature. Great portions for the price and with the freshness you want -- all served with smiles, recommendations and care. A new fave has been discovered in Ardmore!
Very clean and organized service! And perfect execution of every single order! Just go and try.
Delicious! Service was excellent. We live in Delaware. It was definitely worth the drive
I kept the reservation
Bam Bam is very consistent, they serve good food at reasonable prices and also give you quite a few free things to snack on while you await your order. Julia is a superb waitress, very sweet and attentive.
It was freezing cold in the second room where we sat. The service was not very good. It seems like we were not welcome. I was a single adult with 4 kids that were looking to try something new. Not the best place for that. Food was good and it was hot both temperatures and spice.
Nice place, good food, friendly service. And right next to the Ardmore Music Hall, so good for concert nights!
Hard to find authentic Korean restaurants in Philly and Bam Bam does not disappoint!
Finally an authentic delicious Korean restaurant in the area!
The food was good but the place needs serious attention. It’s described as authentic food but it not overly impressive.
Julia is an excellent server, she remembered me from my earlier visits and is very sweet. The food was wonderful and the free extras they give are a nice touch.
The food here is consistently good. The service can be a little slow but the staff is usually friendly.
Disappointed we made reservations for a party of 6 and we were sat beside the door where take out food is picked up and buzzers kept going off.
Just ridiculously good Korean food in the most unlikely of places. Really standout
Best Korean food in Philly!
Simple decor. Fast friendly service. Food excellent. Will be going back
Very fast and friendly service. Lovely ambience. Just did not find the taste of the any of our food very good, including the side dishes. Could possibly be just us. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed pleased with their meals. But we visit a lot of Korean restaurants in Philly, and we were highly disappointed here. Had actually placed another item to-go initially but thankfully they forgot. Likely will not return.
We were there on a Friday evening . We had reservations. We were late and needed to eat quickly, because we had reservations for a show afterwards.. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Very nice people. The complimentary appetizer was amazing and so was the appetizer we ordered. We had the seafood soup. It was good but next time we will order something else. There will be definitely a next time. We looked at other tables, and the food looked absolutely wonderful.
Pleasant meal, gracious servers, good ambiance. It seemed that the menu had been pared down to cater to the local clientele. We have had more interesting Korean food in the city
Great meal but for some reason I'm getting more sensitive to noise or people are getting noisier. I was across from my companion and we could barely talk to or hear each other because of an obnoxiously loud group of people (looked to be 2 sets of parents, sharing birth stories). They were so loud that others in the restaurant were turning to look at them, rolling their eyes. I will go back obviously because the food was excellent albeit slightly ruined by the noisy double date.
Excellent food. Seating is tight. Otherwise a great restaurant!
Everyone at our table ( ages 14-80) thoroughly enjoyed their dishes! The food arrived promptly, the temperature was perfect, and everything was so flavorful. We will be back.
Bam Bam Kitchen isn't the best Korean food I've ever had, although is still solid. We had the Korean Fried Chickem, which tasted good, although wasn't as crunchy as it is at the best places. The bulgogi stir fry was a large portion and fresh, although a bit more seasoning was needed. The service was fine and the prices were reasonable.
