Stefano y Julie colaboraron con Luigi Rosselli Architects y Frost* Design para crear el Balla, un homenaje a la contribución italiana a la frescura del siglo XX con 2 niveles y capacidad para 170 comensales. Las impresionantes referencias al barrio milanés de Navigli y las pinturas de Giacomo Balla, homónimo futurista del restaurante, contrastan armoniosamente con un menú elaborado en torno a la esencia de la Italia tradicional. La cocina abierta de Manfredi, junto con el asador de leña, permitirán a los comensales disfrutar de una auténtica experiencia de ostería. Además, mientras se relajan con las vistas al puerto de Sídney, podrán saborear los deliciosos panes y platos de pasta caseros y el abundante menú inspirado por la cultura gastronómica tradicional de la tierra natal de Stefano, en el que destacan antipasti, primi e pasta, pesce e crostacei y la carne, así como los indulgentes placeres de los postres, I Dolci. Waited 45 minutes between entree and main. Waiter spoke broken English. Had a food allergy and waiter could not confirm or deny if meals had that ingredient. Champagne with limoncello came out warm - was $30, so expected it to be cool. Waiter also didn’t know the drink. We’re forgot about between entree and main and 2 x glasses wine took 10 minutes to come out. Food itself was nice. Would not return or recommend, unfortunately.

I thi k the best place to eat at the Crown. The food was interesting and innovative. The service could have been a little more attentive or they could have left the wine at the table as we’d have to call their attention to our empty glasses.

The food was OK but definitely not worth the price tag - the calamari was nice, the pasta well cooked but the lamb was half cold and lacked any flavor - the vegetable side was horrible. Staff were not the best, I had noted in my booking that it was for my partners birthday and we would appreciate a nicer table - but were not given one - despite the restaurant being half empty. The service was fine but nothing special - not worth it if booking for a special occasion. I would certainly not return

When we arrived we were asked if we are going to a show , which was the case , from then the food came out in timely manner , the service was great , we finished our meal on time , no rush & made it on time to the show. They also took the time to make a special presentation for our birthday girl :)

There were 7 of us, and we had a great evening at Balla. A lovely round table where we could all sit around and chat. It wasn't too noisy so we could easily hear everyone at the table, even though the whole restaurant had an energetic atmosphere. The food was divine. Complementary breads to begin, then entrée, mains & dessert, plus wine and cocktails. Everyone in our party was delighted with all their meals. Professional service by all staff who were happy and engaged. Highly recommend!
