In the hands of chef David Menéndez, chosen as the third best chef in Spain, Balbona was born; a restaurant with traditional Spanish and Asturian cuisine. Its extensive menu allows you to taste a wide variety of preparations including grilled octopus, roasted goat, beef steak, potato omelette, stuffed onions, oxtail, red peppers, the best Spanish cold meats and cheeses (Iberian ham, sobrasada, Iberian morcón, pecorino and matured goat cheese and casar cake). For winter days you can not stop trying the Rioja potatoes, lentils stewed with chorizo, Madrid stew in three rounds or Asturian fabada, an exquisite preparation based on white beans, bacon, blood sausage and chorizo. To accompany these dishes, Balbona has a full bar with various and excellent drinks. In Gin Tonic they are specialists and have one of the best and most extensive offers of this requested drink. And when a great match of the Spanish league is coming, the epicenter is Balbona, offering the best tables and beers.
