   We had dinner at Baklava this week and the whole evening was wonderful.! The food and service are excellent. Can’t wait to go back again!

   We made a reservation for my daughter’s birthday for this restaurant which included information about her nut allergy. When we arrived we mentioned our reservation but due to the restaurant being empty they didn’t seem concerned to check. We made sure to mention to server about the allergy as well, just to make sure they were aware. The decor is lovely and the rest of our food was good. They did not do anything for the birthday celebration and my daughter had a severe allergic reaction after we left. Very disappointed that this happened. At the expensive price they charge would have expected that they could guarantee a nut free meal. And no acknowledgment of her birthday.

   So glad we found this little gem. It's inside a hotel and the food was honestly really good. A beautiful ocean view. We got so much food. We ordered Tropical Tuna, Ceviche, and Guacamole to start our meal--all fresh and flavorful!! For mains, we enjoyed the Fish and Chips and Baja Tacos; each dish was delicious, perfect portion sizes and the service was prompt/efficient. The restaurant had coffee as well as cocktails, and both are refreshing and reasonably priced. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with attentive service!

   We heard a lot of good things about Baklava but unfortunately our experience was not one of them. The food and wine is overpriced for the value, and the service was abysmal. There are so many great restaurants in the area that are far better value for the money. If there is a positive, it is on the ocean and the view was lovely. We will not return.
