It was great! I went Saturday night with my sister and we had such great food and service that we bright my dad back on Sunday for a fun lunch!!! We got the same server!!! We had just been saying how fantastic Elana was to us on Saturday night and when they sat us down she was our server again!!!! What are the chances???!!!! I would request her AGAIN! She made our dining experience wonderful!!! I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I went to dinner Sat night at Bakersfield. The food was great. The service was good. They brought us the wrong dessert but the waiter was very helpful in helping us choose sides and replacing sides. A party of loud , maybe intoxicated people sat near us during our dinner and it was difficult to have a conversation once that happened. Not the restaurant's fault but it made me give a less then stellar review.

This was a belated V-Day night with the wife. We've eaten in just about every restaurant that's occupied this spot on Ogden for 30-plus years. The food was great, the service was great, other than the wife saying her cocktail was a little weak, everything, including entrees and appetizer, was fantastic.

This restaurant is very nice, and has a bit of a limited menu but both our offerings were great. The only downside is that our server, the daytime bartender, had many tables to cover and was running around so much that she got behind in refilling our glasses. This is not her fault, but rather a likely result of staffing decisions made by management.

As always, the food was good and the service was great but the alcohol prices have increased significantly. I probably won't return because the beer and wine prices have really shot up and are substantially higher when compared to their peer restaurants.

Valentines Day. Ran out of appetizer as well as one dessert. Otherwise main course strip steak and lamb were cooked to order. Service good, but waiter was very busy. Carrots were somewhat tasteless.

We went for Valentines Day, saw an email about the price fixe menu, lovely choices. Arrived at 7:00 and already out of oysters. Chef refused to substitute a seafood option. Had very small piece of warm Brie and a watermelon salad. Entrees were good. Waitress took our dessert order early to be sure they were available. When time for dessert came they were out of creme brûlée. Only chocolate choices, which I do not care for. Waitress offered a few others. Had a very dry key lime parfait with way too much whipped cream. Manager did comp us an after dinner drink. Waitress was lovely. Won’t go back for a while. Especially not for a special occasion.

Went with my wife for Valentines Day. We had a 5:30 reservation and they ran out of the one desert we wanted. How does that happen but not that big of a deal for us or the manager. Our waitress was awesome, and you could tell she really likes her job. We appreciate that.

Bakersfield should be the best restaurant between Oakbrook and Naperville but it's never consistant. Sometimes is amazing and other times just blah. This time it was blah other than our waitress. When it opened we loved it and went often but I think the menu has been the same for the past year so we find other options that are more worth the money.

We still love ya Bakersfield and we hope you can figure it out.
