Bakersfield has a reputation for offering traditional tacos in a myriad of clever combinations made from fresh and perfectly cooked ingredients. It's all true. Bakersfield has a reputation for their tequila selections and some markedly good margaritas made with fresh lime juice and top shelf anejo tequila. Also, all true. They have likewise had a reputation for offering a smattering of tasty appetizers to get things moving along. Again, still true. BUT, something has happened in the last six months. Something GREAT rather than dismal, like we see at too many other restaurants. The appetizer offerings have doubled in number and become even better than they had been. And the top shelf margaritas options, yes, still sold by the pitcher, now number three rather than just the one traditional Bakersfield Margarita. Should you put $50 down on a pitcher of margaritas? When they taste like this, it'd be a sin not to! Happy Hour continues to offer incredible price breaks on apps that now include the top shelf margaritas. But they don't cheat on portions and they don't skimp on quality ingredients. So, go back to Bakersfield. In fact, I'm wondering why I'm not going there this evening.

We went for restaurant week and it was such a great deal! The queso and pineapple marg were both so so delicious. And our server Layla was great and super friendly! Overall had a very good experience.

The tacos were hot and delicious! The drinks on the other hand were expensive! They need tacos and drink specials for Taco Tuesdays!

Awesome Mexican dining experience! We loved the guacamole & salsa trio and a variety of tacos & loved every bite. The Bakersfield margarita was to notch & atmosphere upbeat & lively … Mason was a fantastic server & made great recommendations along with handling my son’s food allergy restrictions with care. It’s wonderful when your server puts in effort to ensure a great evening out to dinner. Thank you Mason!
